Now this product is the best .. It has a shelf stable life of 30 yrs .. take out a few tablespoons with a small layer of water over it in 15 mins it’s like I just cut a fresh pepper! I put this in all my dishes soups and stir fry.. The value is amazing my guess is 100 green peppers in one can in small perfect size shreds! For 13 dollars or so..It keeps its taste and cooks easy you can’t tell the difference between just cut of a vine.

These are good and affordable. Make a nice addition to my preps. Our bell peppers didn't do well this year and it saves me a lot of dehydrating time.

the smell of this when i opened it was fantastic, and the color of the peppers looked great. I am a little disappointed that the container was only half full. I've been buying Augason for over a year. NEVER been disappointed.

Have ordered alot of items across the survival food board. These are "DEHYDRATED " and not freeze-dried. Was expecting most items from a survival foods company to be freeze-dried. The price is good at the point I bought them. But it seemed that the #10 can was only half full. Most likely sold by volume or weight. So I weighed the product without container and it was definitely not as advertised...missing 18 ounces of product.On the other hand, the dehydrated peppers rehydrated well and tasted good. I bought these to put in several of my survival kits-meals. X8 cups total spread into x16 meals and I made x60 sealed bags of herb-spice mix.

Cooks up just like fresh peppers! Taste, texture, shelf life, nutrients, all 5/5. I stock up on this every chance I get because fresh bell peppers are just too darned expensive. Full of vitamin C. And you get about 40 medium-large bell peppers per can, so the size is nice too, though I wish they sold a double filled can, so it would be more space-efficient in my prepper pantry.I use this in soups, stews, marinara, salsa, powdered in my spice grinder to flavor hummus and salad dressings. It's excellent. Buy one if you haven't already, YOU WILL LOVE IT!
