M C G Textiles Scotney Castle Garden Counted Cross Stitch Kit-16"X12" 16 Count

I was happy to find this item at a price a lot lower than what I would have paid elsewhere until I received it. I would never have believed that someone would actualy create a knock off of a counted cross stitch pattern until now. When a Charles White pattern is created, there are a lot of blended colors, and when the project is done it looks like a photograph. The kit I received only blended two colors and looked nothing like the photo on line. I have done a few Charles White patterns, and I know the kit I received would not even come close to looking like it should. I will be returning this item and ordering this kit from a more reliable source.

It is hard to look at the pattern because the design is so detailed and only has symbols in black. I've bought other cross stitch kits that had symbols in black, blue and red and it was much easier to work with the pattern.
