Ordered this bag as an “extra” take along that was packed in my suitcase for my month-long trip to Europe.When the bag arrived and I was surprised how small and light it was when folded. Even more surprised at how big this bag was once opened! Also, pleasantly surprised at how sturdy it was given some of the other reviews.Have been using this on my trip and am quite pleased with it so far as it has traveled with me to four separate hotels so far.Here is what I like: Folds into an easily packable extra bag. Very big and roomy — have been able to pack purchases I have made on my trip including 3 pairs of shoes, clothes, extra gift purchases, etc. that would not fit in my other suitcase. The bag easily slips over my suitcases telescopic handle. Long, adjustable shoulder strap is great — even the hand carry handles are adjustable — a Great bonus I had not expected! I ordered the black bag that has a hidden pocket for shoes and that has been wonderful. Noticed the other bags (different colored ones) didn’t have the shoulder strap or shoe compartment area — so I am reviewing the one that has these extras.What was not as likeable as the other features: The bag, because it is foldable and light, does not have ANY structure whatsoever. Other reviewers have noted this and the photo makes it appear as if there is some level of structure. Please note — there is not any. So, depending upon how the bag is packed, it can get a bit awkward to maneuver. That being said — for me and the purposes I need this bag, the lack of structure really isn’t a negative since I didn’t expect the bag to have much structure to it. This was the only “negative” and something I did think should be noted, especially since other reviews seemed to really think that the lack of structure in the bag was a negative.What I would *not* use this bag for; This, for me, was an extra bag to pack in my luggage to be able to purchase items while on travel and it has been perfect for that purpose. I would definitely not buy this bag to use as my primary means of luggage for travel. Although, it could be easy to use on a light weekend getaway that doesn’t require a lot of heavy things to be packed.Overall, great super light and easy to pack extra bag with great functionality at a really reasonable price with a lot of unexpected extras (handle and shoe pouch usefulness).Will be purchasing another for my boyfriend so he has an extra bag to pack on our next trip too.Adding this 2 years later. After 2 years, STILL using this bag! As originally wrote, purchased this as an extra bag for travel overseas. So far I have used this on each trip and it has been exactly what was needed. This past trip I actually bought too much and used this bag to *ship* dirty clothes back from Europe. I was scared because they did not pack this bag in a box, they just taped it up on the outside with labels and shipped it. To my surprise, the bag arrived in PERFECT condition — even after an overseas, fully stuffed, no protection shipment!!Given the hundreds of dollars I have paid for other luggage that fell apart, this was the bargain of the century. Just purchased another one. Hope it performs as well as this one has— Completely recommend!

I bought this collapsible duffel back in 2018 and have taken it around the world and on many domestic trips. It has gone into checked airline baggage at least three times (domestic and international), and has come onboard with me as a carryon countless times. It also does well tossed into the hold of a Greyhound bus and chucked into a luggage pile on a European train. The bluish teal dark colour also hides stains and dirt pretty well. I always throw it into my bag when packing, especially when it looks like I am running out of room (things never fit back quite as neatly as when originally packed) and it has saved me on more than one occasion. It is self contained with a pouch that converts into the front pocket when expanded, so you're not dealing with a detachable carrying pouch that might get lost. The pouch/front pocket even has an extra zippered small compartment that is accessible when collapsed or when expanded. Love that it has a luggage strap on the back to attach to the handle of roller bags. It even has a zippered shoe compartment, though I've never used it. The double zippered main compartment is super roomy and carries a ton. I've put a few days worth of clothes and shoes and a few souvenir medium sized purses in the bag with no problem. It's also awesome as a laundry bag. I haven't tested to see if it's 100% waterproof, but I've carried it outdoors while it was drizzling and nothing inside got wet. I have not had any issues with the zippers, even when I've had it very full, to the point where the zippers rugged a bit. I wouldn't try to overfill this with super rigid items, as you may bust a zipper, but for soft overflow items it can't be beat. It is surprisingly durable. Highly recommend!

I am on my way home to the US from a 2-week trip in Europe. We wanted to be able to bring some souvenirs home without worrying about checking a bag both ways. This bag is sturdy, packs down very small, and fits well on a suitcase, provided you do not stuff it too much. The zipper is resilient though I wish it had a better shoulder strap. For the money, I doubt there is a better option out there.

This bag is so sturdy, holds so much gear, and packs up so well. However the top zipper is terrible. It broke on two out of the three bags of this variety I have purchased. I love this bag and I’m so sad it broke.

This bag came in clutch for my trip to Europe. We had too many souvenirs on our last day in Scotland and our suitcases were already packed. We dumped it all into this travel duffel and easily took it with us as a carry on.The bag when folded took up no space. It hardly weighed anything and was super easy to place in our suitcase as a just in case. Plus the purple color is really nice.

Great for going to the farmer's Market where there are no shopping carts and as an extra bag when traveling (beach bag, for excess shopping, etc).

Took this bag for weekend in Spain. Held so much of my clothing was fab. Took straight on board Ryanair not a problem. Would recommend comes in many colours and is well made, plus good value
