This nylon boar bristle brush (with a wood handle) has a nice grip on hair but does not pull on hair. It came in a very nice box (which you can easily use to store other things if you'd like; I'm thinking tea bags stored upright so no need to buy a separate tea bag display case).The box also contains a useful brush cleaner (also useful to clean other hairbrushes in your collection) which looks like small claws with a smooth plastic grip. And it also contains three hair clips so that you can section your hair while styling. I don't need six or ten hair clips like most Amazon listings are so part of the reason why I ordered this product was that I was looking for a new boar bristle round brush, and some hair clips and rather than buy them individually, I came across this product and thought it contained everything I needed, but with also a brush cleaner, and a nice cloth bag to store your brush in to put in your suitcase when you travel.This product also came with a letter from the family run business thanking their customers for the purchase. It also includes a card with a QR code you can scan to help plant a tree. I have tried to do so but would need to enter my personal details, so I will decide later on that, but it shows the business is trying to encourage us all to lower our carbon footprint and to help the environment.This is a product with a great value, great packaging, and good quality items. I would support this business again.

I wanted to replace the boar bristle brush I had been using for years - it was pulling out too much hair. I received the new one yesterday and used it this morning; I was amazed at the quality of the additional items, not to mention the brush! At first glance I thought the brush was too small - it proved me wrong and lighter in weight too. My hair looks just as good, dried quicker and had very little hair left in the brush!

Good quality brush it does add volume to my hair. . Crocodile clips mainly for long hair, mine really too short. The tool to clean the brush doesn’t work that well. Too soon to tell if hair will be shinier.

I am very pleased with this brush. It grips, holds my thick, long hair & helps smooth it nicely. It has a wooden handle but the grip is still as good as if it was a rubber handle IMO. Plus, all of my rubber handles eventually fall off anyway so at least I won't need to worry about that with this one. Also, the large 2.7" is a nice size for my shoulder length hair. I would also purchase a larger barrel as well if this brand made an XL. I highly recommend this brush.

This was the second one I ordered. I like how comfortable it feels to hold and brush, and I love the most is its boar hair bristles grab and brush hair and scalp so effectively. Overall, it is a good quality brush.

I'm disappointed that the nylon bristles have ball-tips because I was specifically looking for a brush without the ball-tipped bristles and when looking at this one it did not appear to have them, nor did the advertisement make any obvious note of it having them.Additionally, I am a bit frustrated because many of the bristles were bent upon opening the package. Some of the boar bristles had also fallen out in the box during shipping, but for a boar bristle brush, finding some loose bristles is normal in the beginning, although they should not continue to fall out after a few uses. Several of the boar bristles not being completely straight is to be expected, as they are a natural fiber, but the nylon ones should be mostly if not completely straight since the brush has been shipped in a box to prevent it from being crushed.I can see why some people may have thought their brushes were used before they received their item, considering the bent bristles and that there is visible dust between the clusters, likely due to manufacturing methods/conditions. The item I received was also not sealed by tape, stickers, or plastic, there was only a paper sleeve holding the box shut. However, the brush I received does smell new, not like someone's hair or hair products, so I may simply give it a light wash as the quality seems acceptable and ball-tips on the nylon bristles are smaller than average so it may work well enough for my purposes anyway.

Who would have guessed a hair brush could make such a difference? I have naturally curly hair, and a lot of it, but I prefer it straight. The round brush I was previously using didn’t grip my hair well enough to actually get the back straight so I would have to use a straightener after blow drying. This brush gripped my hair without tangling and left it frizz free! My hair is just past my shoulders and the large size worked perfectly, even for the shorter layers around my face. I’m now buying the medium size for styling options. It made such a huge difference using a brush that actually grips my hair. Best decision to get this brush!
