* TBS Hayes Hydraulic Brakes Bleed Kit + DOT 5.1 Fluid

I was sceptical that I would be able to perform a bleed on my brakes. I had asked at its service for the brakes to be bled as there was too much travel on the front brake leaver. The had only adjusted the brake, which soon became unusable. This kit was so easy to use and worked a treat. You do have to be careful that you don't get fluid everywhere. As long as you go about it step by step making sure you follow the instructions you should be okay. I also bled the back brake which was working well, but found it made a small difference. Very happy with purchase

Comes will all the items I needed to bleed both front and back and refil with Dot fluid very easy instructions too.

Useless kit. The o ring seals on the connectors just push up as you screw them onto the lever and caliper so it impossible to make an air tight seal. Don't waste your money. An old SRAM kit I had lying around works properly.

Poor fitment of attachment at the brake lever. Tubes did not hold tightly on to bleed nipples. All blew apart when bleeding. Oil everywhere apart from where it should be. Finally got some oil through but couldn’t complete the procedure for removing the air bubbles. Not suitable for Hayes Nine brakes in my opinion.

The second syringe did not seal properly on the brake caliper which caused brake fluid and air to leak between the syringe and the caliper. Most likely the O-ring failed. Somehow I still managed to get a working bleed, but would not recomend this set.
