I really like the box that it came in. I used it to remove a portion of half iron pipe that had broken off inside this coupling on a four to six inch line. It's reverse thread, and the teeth are so far between along the shaft I didn't think it was going to bite, but it did. And it worked as it should. I was very pleasantly surprised. I bought this kit specifically for this issue, and it made a tough job much easier.

The PVC drip pipes to my attic A/C unit were sheared off. The technician that came out tried valiantly to remove them, but after his own tools broke, he said we would have to replace the entire drain unit. I was quoted a $1600 repair. I tried several other tricks to remove the stuck PVC. Spreaders (reverse pliers), water sprinkler plastic pipe extractors, even a sword. Nothing else worked. I didn't have a lot of hope with these guys when I first bought them, but I was willing to try one last thing. Lo and behold, they were exactly what was needed! With them and a few runs to the hardware store for PVC, was able to repair the lines myself for less than a hundred dollars. These things saved me a huge amount of time and am extremely grateful for their existence! 10/10, would bang my head and knees around in the attic again for that much money saved.
