Fantastic brakes. Outstanding upgrade over cantilever breaks when you're using short-pull levers.Easy to adjust. The barrel adjuster is a nice addition. Very high quality construction.Minor point - I wasn't wild about the brake cartridges that came with it though - replaced the brake pads using some old Tekro cartridge holders that I had, and used Shimano v-brake pads into them. Works great.

Superior braking and great tire clearance.
Tremendous amount of stopping power with pretty good modulation. If is squeeze them tight enough, both wheels will lock up and skid. I was never able to get my old brakes to do this. They are paired with Sram 900 single speed brake levers and are a perfect matching. Installation was a little tricky until I emailed the company who clarified exactly how to set the arms before tightening the springs but once I figured it out it was easy.I have fatter tires on my bike and the cable on my old Tektro 926AL brakes would only clear the tire if it was not fully inflated but these clear it with room to spare both vertically as well as being wide enough to accommodate larger tires.recomend these brakes 100%

Excellent Brakes, the BEST
Amazing brakes. Put them on a cyclocross type bike, my commuter. Solved all my issues with squeaking, power, adjustments. Worth the price if you can afford them, it took me a while to pull the trigger on these because of the price, but I am glad I finally did. They can fit bigger tires than my older tektro mini V brakes too, which I am looking forward to once I need new tires. Once I watched the youtube video on how to adjust them, it was a breeze. I love that you dont have to use Canti's only with road levers, these mini V's are great.

Worth the price
I upgraded the brakes on my daily commuter from 24 year old cantilevers to the minimotos. The braking power is exponentially improved, and there is no more screeching coming from the brakes. Also I was very happy to see that my fenders did not interfere. One of my favorite aspects is that the brakes come with a sleeve for mounting on your brake bosses. The bosses on my '93 Trek are not as smooth as they once were, so the mounting sleeves provide a clean rotating surface. The brakes are very expensive but being the most important component for keeping you alive these are worth the price.

good brakes.
Excellent brakes, you don't need a cable hanger and therefore the cable goes directly to the brake making it much more efficient at its job. They also don't go out widely from the frame. My previous back brake, an Avid was good but I would hit my leg dismounting every once in a while. Lastly, I like the way that they have made tightening of the springs which is much better than the tiny screw on most brakes. You can adjust it easier and more efficiently. I thought that it would come loose but after 500 miles, so far no issues.I'm having another set put on a custom bike that I'm ordering.

Nearly disc performance
This was a last ditch effort to get acceptable braking from rim brakes on my gravel bike. Mission accomplished. Very light action and lots of power. It may have less modulation than a great disc setup, but the difference isn’t huge.

Spend the money
Setup and tuning was so much easier than the canti brakes they replaced. I love this tension adjustment setup as well. My old Tektro cantis were at the mercy of spring tension, but I love being able to fine tune the tension without having to fiddle with the cables/hanger/yoke positioning. There may be fender clearance issues with fatter tires than mine (40mm+) but they're just right for my setup (Velocity A23s w/ 35mm Marathons + fenders).

These are much better (function, design) than my TRP CX8
These are much better (function, design) than my TRP CX8.4's and have more vertical clearance above the tire. The TRP CX8.4's are not bad - these are just better.
