This is quite nice and a nice weight for most climates
This is quite nice and a nice weight for most climates. The pocket is plenty big. I took a photo of it holding a Galaxy S8 phone, 2 passports, long wallet and camera and there was still room. The folds hide it well even when full per the picture. My only minor complaint is that the zipper is really hard to find even when pocket is full. This is awesome as camouflage for would be thieves but is a bit annoying if you need to get something in a hurry. Over all good quality.

Great travel scarf!
This is the best purchase I have made in a while! I bought the teal scarf. The color is beautiful and the material is very soft. I used it on a very long flight from Florida to Alaska. I was able to drape it over my shoulders and over my arms when I got chilly. The pocket was spacious and the zipper was the same color as the material so it was not obvious. It is very well made. I would recommend it for anyone who travels, but also for every day use. I will probably order different colors.

Pros & minimal Cons
I just got this today and haven’t used it, but my initial review is positive. Pros: soft, wide material that is versatile to style preference. Discrete zipper, so it’s more fashion than travel gear. Cons: the scarf doesn’t fold into the pocket (creating a “clutch”) to pop in the same items that were in the pocket originally. The zipper is really hard to locate, even when your items are in the pocket. On the other hand, if the pocket is so well concealed, it would be very difficult for someone to discern that it exists, let alone pick pocket from it.I would use this “empty” for regular wear, and also for items that I don’t need to access all day/evening but are critical to keep handy and/or secure. Its possible that a charm fixed to the zipper would make it easier to find (albeit easier for everyone to find), which would make it more practical if you’re attempting to carryall and forego a purse or clutch.

Fashion, utility, warmth.
I'm not really a fashion scarf kind of gal, but got this because I was traveling to Europe and wanted a safe way to have my passport handy. I didn't carry it with me all the time, but it was handy to have through the various stages of the airport checks. The pocket felt a bit awkward to me even with one passport in it, but it worked. Without the passport, I found the scarf to be comfortable, sufficiently warm for Edinburgh in December, and it looked it good. (It's kind of making me a believer in scarves!)This scarf was significantly higher in price that other alternatives and I don't know if it was of better quality or not; I chose it for the color and pattern. It does seem to be pilling up a bit after a week of pretty much constant wear.

Cozy Anti-Theft Device
This was one of the BEST purchases I have ever made. I bought the scarf for a trip to Paris over Thanksgiving. The forecast said that it was going to be cold, and so I paid expedited shipping to get this scarf in before I left (and I'm so glad that I did). I was also planning to wear sweater dresses almost the entire time I was there, so I didn't think wearing a belt under my clothes would make my items incredibly accessible.First, the design of the scarf keeps your possessions incredibly safe, hidden, and secure. In fact, there were times I had a difficult time figuring out where the pocket was at, which although a little bit of an issue, it also reassured me that a thief would have an even more difficult time. I carried my passport, credit card in an RFID holder, money, and my phone in the pocket, and even with all that weight, if you position the scarf correctly, you can't tell I'm carrying anything (in every single picture I have all those things in the scarf, except for my phone). In fact, until I showed the pocket to the teachers who were on the trip with me, none of them realized that the scarf had a hidden pocket, and then they all wanted a scarf just like it.Second, the scarf is very good quality. I bought the black fabric, so it would match everything I wore. It actually seemed to repel water slightly, though this isn't something that is advertised, so it may just have been my perception (I didn't get soaked at any point, but water beaded on the fabric in light rain). The fabric was incredibly soft and cozy, and again, the hidden zipper is truly hidden.Third, the scarf is actually warm. In fact, I was able to use it as a pseudo-earmuffs (see picture) while at Versailles. Actually, I'm trying to figure out how to make it less warm, so I can wear it this summer because it was the handiest while traveling. My favorite thing about the entire scarf is the fact that I never had to worry about pickpockets. I knew my items were secure where I could feel anyone trying to access items, and they were so hidden, I really didn't have to worry at all. This is an amazing travel accessory, and if you're not sure it's worth the cost, I would tell you it is. It is worth every penny I spent on it just for the peace of mind I had while wearing it, which allowed me to truly enjoy Paris.

I even had my iPhone 6 in it and it draped nicely!
I returned the cream color and was sent one in Sapphire which I LOVE beyond my expectations. When my new sapphire scarf arrived I put it on and wore it for an hour or so around the house just to get a genuine feel for it. I even had my iPhone 6 in it and it still draped nicely. (I had the pocket centered in the top loop of the scarf and cradled it in the bottom loop.) I am so pleasantly surprised! I wish I would have had it for the 20-day trip we took in October. I couldn't get the replacement before we left so I used a different brand that was thinner fabric and more narrow and it just didn't compare on any level. The Travel Scarf by Waypoint Goods is a quality scarf worth the money! I love it and the sapphire color is beautiful!!! Also, their customer service is amazing!
