Replacing the shells was quite stressful because of all the tiny components. However once I had finished the first one, the second one took half the time. The main issue was that I struggled to get Nintendo’s screws that were on the outside off but extremerate’s included ones were brilliant. They look amazing and feel just like the original shells. So it was definitely worth the money and the effort

Only 4 stars because of the price- these will only fit with same brand joycon shell so be prepared to spend on that as well.Just search “joycon shell swap” on YouTube there’s a lot of tutorials.Once installed (paired my pink buttons with white shell) it’s cute and has a nice feel. Using them for long play times can hurt your fingers though (especially A/B buttons) but overall they work as intended.Absolutely recommend the product and brand 🌸

Fairly easy to fit and no sign of peeling or cracking, over 200 gameplay and no sign of wear

Looks cool, and it's nice that you get the plus, minus, home and capture buttons.But the round buttons feel really rough. Not very nice to the touch.Work ok though.Probably shouldn't be called 'soft touch'.

There are 2 screwdrivers an X and Y. Neither fit switch screws perfectly and within a few tries were wearing down.I also purchased different joycon colours which came with a pair of screwdrivers too. They didn't work either. Expensive mistake for me to make.

Bought this white button set to replace the black d-pad that usually comes with the soft touch replacement shells. It definitely feels different and more nicer on the thumb. I read about other reviews saying the screwdrivers that come with the set are bad but I've had zero issues using them. The screwdrivers probably won't last forever in terms of durability but for replacing the buttons it works fine.

Maybe I overdid the whole jamming the trigger buttons on, but I could definitely tell there was a slight fitment issue. Sanding the button down to be able to fit would have been fatal to the chrome finish. Had to keep the trigger buttons as they were.

I had no problem with installing these. After opening the joycons everything was easy to do.

The buttons look really great and feel good. I wish there was one more button for each joycon to replace the release button (circled). I can't knock off the score for not including that button though, wasn't in the description.The D-Pad feels good, kind of like a Vita D-pad. You can press all directions at once, so not a true D-pad but the dip in the center helps. Clicky but good somehow.White sticks are just silicone caps, matches pretty well.
