This was easier to install than I expected. Working just like new.

My oven heating element turned white hot and I knew it was time for a new stove. My beautiful bride asked, "Can't we just replace the element?" So, being the good husband I try to be, I youtube'd a video and thought, "That's not hard. I shall give it a try!" After researching for a part number I found this on Amazon-ordered it-it arrived-I replaced it-it glows a lovely shade of orange and didn't stink near as bad as I was led to believe it might. This range has been in this home for 16 years and it looks as if we might get a few more years all because I took a few minutes to replace the element instead of throwing the baby out with the bath water.

Easy to replace.

Upgrade? Nah. But a perfectly suitable replacement if you need to fix your oven but don't wanna deal with the landlord/maintenance/repair guy. Probably the exact same part an appliance repair man would use and with a fraction of the markup.

I changed it out with the bad one and this one works just fine.

Save yourself some money and buy this. My story is, about a month ago my oven just quit allowing me to preheat. Then nothing would cook. I googled it and found that I am in need of a heating element. I was going to pay for a technician to fix it but, that was far too outrageous of a cost for me to afford! I'm a diy gal and decided to try to fix it myself and I'm very glad that I did!
