Just what I needed
GENERAL: The size is perfect for everyday trips. I was looking for a tackle box and stumbled upon this while buying the KastKing Crixus reel and KastKing Resolute rod and loved the idea of being able to carry your tackle and bait in addition to any other supplies you want to bring without being weighed down by a clunky box or huge heavy backpack.PROS: The included box fits perfect in the front pocket while the back(main) pocket still has plenty of space to store more tackle, reel boxes, a jacket, any additional tools and even some food or snacks. While the rod holder is initially designed to hold one 2 piece rod, I was able to securely fit 2 rod sets total. The "self healing" zippers DO in fact correct gaps in the zipper. Some of the pockets came with gaps in them and getting the zipper to close or open all the way and fix the gap took next to no effort. The fact you can zip up and hide away the water bottle pocket as well as the rod pockets is a nice touch.CONS: Its a very minor thing but when you wear the pack, the adjustable strap has no way of being secured to the bag and just dangles out in front. Some clever ingenuity could solve that with a rubber band or tucking it away but it would be nice if it came with a strap holder. Second: I noticed when I take it off I find myself looking for a grab handle at the top of the bag for an easier way to set it down or pick it up. Last: While it may be water resistant it would be nice to see a more water resistant/proof style zipper, if I'm on the paddle board or kayak I would feel better about my lunch being protected from accidental splash back.Other than that this is the perfect little pack for those quick trips and don;t want to carry an entire arsenal with you, but still have your hands and arms free.

KASTKING Fishing BackPack
The media could not be loaded. I like how its a small backpack with alot of space. This KastKing backpack can hold alot of weight from my experience. So far no damage was done to the straps or any tears appeared from the weight put onto it. Its so comfortable to have on. Its adjustable so it can basically fit almost anybody. Im 5'7" and roughly 240lbs so for a big guy like me its pretty useable without a struggle. It has smaller pockets in each compartment so that is helpful. I can carry a knife and pliers in the back to where its easily accesible to me or anyone who needs to grab something. Carry a water bottle as needed. So far I loaded this back boy up with around 10 Senko worm packs and a small KastKing tackle organizer box with a couple more items and it holds up to my standards. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves to fish. Its small from a picture but it's efficient in carrying around all the things you need to be close to the water to spend a day out fishing. Get rid of the tacklebox and invest in this thing.

Plenty of Room and durable also two rod holder slots on the side !!
Love this bag! Yes you can buy a cheap bag that you think will be the best alternative but this bag for the price has no alternative highly! Recommended there is enough room for your tackle ,soft plastics , rod ,and even snacks without being to backbreaking to carry. This bag is the perfect size comfortable durable well thought out with the design and the sling makes it a breeze to swing over and remove bag off your back to access all your needs !

Great survival backpack!
The durability is amazing--it will take years for this backpack to get damaged. The capacity is generous, you're able to fit things like a knife, First AID Kit, rope, fire starters, survival cookware etc. Its compact, nothing will fall off or out of this backpack, and its light weight. Its unique design evenly distributes the weight of the backpack's contents. Though, I find that this backpack will cause shoulder, neck and back pain after a couple hours of use.Overall I recommend this backpack for anyone who's active, fishes, hikes, travels, or just wants a backpack with survival supplies!

Perfect tackle bag for a day on the lake
I've been so impressed with this fishing tackle bag since I bought it in June. It has just the right amount of storage capacity to hold everything I need for a day on the pond. I do all my fishing from shore, and I can wear the bag for hours at a time while walking up the shoreline without feeling weighed down. I love the front loops for latching on pliers, knives, towels, and other gear to have within an arm's reach. The side rod holder pockets come in handy when transporting multiple rods and reels. Technically it's built for a two-piece rod, but I've been able to carry two full rods and reels with it no problem (I just have to watch out for overhanging trees.) The interior pockets are well organized and store plenty of soft plastics. I live next to a lake and I used the bag out fishing nearly every day for five months, and it is showing no signs of wear and tear as of yet. I guess my only small complaint is with the sling design, because sometimes when I turn a certain way or bend over, the bag will slide down my side. But I knew it was a sling bag going in and for the most part I prefer being able to quickly slide the bag around to my front when I need to get inside, rather than having to take it on and off like a regular backpack.

Kast King Pond Hopper Bag - Super Tough with Tons of Organization
I just got the Kast King Pond Hopper bag, and though i haven't gotten to take it fishing, i can tell it is going to be my favorite quick-grab bug-out fishing bag. The main zippered compartment can easily hold a 3700 style storage box, while a 3600 style storage box fits in the second zippered compartment. I don't know if I will make use of every single storage/organization option in this bag, like th multiple elastic top slots, key-ring clip, clear-window zippered pockets, rod holder pockets with bungee keeper, but hey, at least i have lot of options! It's not that its difficult to grab the shoulder strap and to pick it up, but I think it would be even better if the bag had a rubberized grip handle across the top, just to let you quickly grab and shift it around in the boat, or when your sliding over a few feet on the bank. Same Self-healing zippers, tough stitching and fabric, as on the Kast King Lunker tackle bag that i purchase over a year ago. Can't hold all my tackle, but for a quick trip, the Pond Hopper is going to be a joy.
