Excellent replacement for an old, poorer quality phone tripod mount. The description does show that the phone tripod mount has a "max extension size of 3.93 inches." However, be aware that if you don't have strong fingers or poor dexterity and you have a Motorola Moto g stylus 5G (2022) phone with an Otterbox case like mine, it's quite difficult to squeeze the 3.25-inch phone into the phone tripod mount. It is very well constructed and holds the phone extremely firmly and sturdily; there is no slippage at all, thanks to the tight grip and red (silicone, I think) "grippers." It is, indeed, very lightweight, and the hot shoe is a nice addition! Very good value for what I paid compared to other brands.

Solid Strong holds the phone so perfectly

I use it with my LG G8 phone and it fits great even with the phone being in a case. My phone in the case measures 3.25" wide. There are grooves in the holder so that buttons located on the sides of your phone won't be compressed when your phone is mounted in the holder. It does not come with a tripod. I purchased the ULANZI MT-08 Extension Pole Tripod to go with mine and together they make a sturdy and stable setup. It cost a little more than other holders I have seen on Amazon but this is not some flimsy holder like others I have ordered in the past. I would provide a picture but I can't use my cell phone to take the picture because the cell phone is in the holder! LOL!

It's a nice mount that works well. Little worried about the gripper being only glued on, seems like it's a little loose. Moves a bit anyway. Not sure how long that'll last before I have to reattach it. Only real issue is it's a bit small for the modern larger phones. Very tight to get on and off.

It is just big enough for my large iPhone 14 Pro Max. Now I have a cold shoe for my microphone and LED light panel.

I actually own three of these and I leave them mounted to various C-Stands and tripods around the studio. On the upside, the mount is lightweight and fully adjustable. The mount can be rotated 360 degrees and the rotation mechanism is stiff enough to hold in place regardless of where it is positioned. The mount will also tilt forward or backward, not quite 180 degrees, which is VERY useful. The cold shoe mount is perfect for adding a microphone or wireless mic transmitter (Rode GO). On the downside, the plastic construction makes me wonder how long this will last. The plastic ratchet mechanism has held up well so far, but it remains to be seen as to how long it will last. The allen bolt that is used to adjust the tilt hinge tension should be replaced with a thumb screw so that a tool is not required. All-in-all, this is a great tool for the price and it is the best one I have found so far. If Ulanzi made the exact same product, but out of aluminum instead of plastic, I would pay double for the added durability.

The spring is strong, which makes placing and removing a phone cumbersome. Other similar products have a screw knob rather than a spring, which is much easier to manage.

This is an excellent addition to my video gadgets. Closes snuggly on my iPhone XR, and holds it free of shaking for great video taking. I tested it thoroughly, and it delivers the steadiness that I truly need. Ultra-easy to install on my tripod and easy to hook my Rode external microphone to it, offering the same solid firm grasp. In all, the feel is solid, the rubber cushions are a great plus, the 1/4” fits perfectly and feels like it was made for my tripod. A solid 100% product.

Quality is not up to the mark, as it look too week while installing in a phone or on a tripod.

I like the product and it’s sturdy and useful!

This Is a simple little item and it works wonderfully using it with an iPhone 11 and it’s perfect. I attach my Rode video pro plus microphone to it and then attach it to a cradle with the phone and it’s perfect. It’s not expensive if you need one buy it you’ll be glad you did.

El soporte ST-07 de ULANZI genial. 1 - El envío perfecto ha llegado tal i como se indicaba i no tiene ningún problema tal i como se pueden ver en las fotos, bien protegido. 2 - Para aquellas personas que tengan el trípode de MT-08 de ULANZI les recomiendo que compren este accesorio para el trípode que es la base para poder poner los móviles. 3 - Ademas este soporte permite poder acoplar ya sea micrófonos para tener una mejor experiencia i calidad de audio a la hora de grabar, i mas cosas ya que tiene varias entradas donde poder poner otras cosas. 4 - Tiene un muelle bastante grande i es muy resistente para que no se rompa ni nada por el estilo, dentro donde se pone el teléfono tiene una goma de muy buena calidad para que el teléfono no se resbale, se puede montar con funda o sin el teléfono, ya que se agarra perfectamente, está echo en un acabado de plástico muy resistente pero ligero para que no sea una molestia a la hora de grabar cuando se quiera agarrar el trípode i que no tenga mucho peso por eso este soporte está echo de un platico ligero pero que de verdad muy resistente. Para aquellas personas que quieran un soporte para poder poner su teléfono les recomiendo este i además con su trípode que es el MT-08 es mucho mejor lo digo por la experiencia i el uso que le he dado es perfecto se nota que los de UÑANZI miran por el cliente i no por el beneficio, ya que por el precio que tiene es muy recomendable que se compre, por precio i calidad que tiene no puedo decir nada mas que dar las gracias a los de UÑANZI por crear estas perfecciones. Si de verdad deseas comprarlo confío que puedes estar seguro en lo que gastarás tu dinero ya que no lo lamentarás además darás las gracias a esta empresa por poder comparar este producto de verdad sin exagerar me gusta muchísimo I le doy un uso intensivo.
