THE ANSWER TO AN AGE-OLD PROBLEM
This is a healthful, convenient invention for dogs. And, it saves wear and tear on the owners too! This product is amazing. I received my first strip of Fresh Patch a couple weeks back, and I ordered the XL for my 11 year old 80 pound, Giant Schnauzer. She took to it right away. At 11 years of age, she sometimes needs to go at night. This patch, on the porch, took care of her weewee needs nicely for the entire day and night. I left it in place about 3 weeks, then got rid of it. She used it regularly, the entire time. CONVENIENT FOR TRAVEL WITH SHOW DOGS Because I like to travel with her, I needed something that would allow her to go, in the motel room, late at night. I needed a size that she could fit her butt on, and not miss the mark, and a size, that I could easily haul around. The 24 x 24 fit the bill nicely. Its packable and portable at that size. And, have you ever pulled into a motel about 7 or 8 pm, dead tired, hungry, and its pouring rain in sheets outside, and the dog won’t go out – but you know she has to go? Well, the Large, 24 x 24, Fresh Patch, is what I I now travel with, to get around situations like this. HEALTHIER It makes her life healthier – because she doesn’t have to “hold it” waiting for me to get myself together to take her out. It makes my life easier, as her potty times are now one less thing I have to worry about, and its much easier to cater to her immediate needs, whether at home, or when I am traveling -- with Fresh Patch. Plus, I refuse to use 'dog parks' where everyone elses' pee, along with their bacteria, are what my dog walks thru, sniffs up into the nose, then adds her pee to !! Fresh Patch is an invitation to a healthier life-style for her. With these patches, – she can go when she needs to; and I don’t have to drop everything, because I know when a senior dog needs to go – that means NOW, not later, or it will be all over the carpet/floor. COST Because my time is worth something – I will continue to buy these. The 24 x 24 is conveniently packaged in what appears to be a water-proof box, ready to open, and put on the floor. Going somewhere? Put the cover back on, and put in the trunk. I have things to see, places to be, and one thing I need better control of, is how much time my dog takes to pee. I can't be wandering all over some road-side rest stop, "waiting" for the perfect spot. Fresh Patch gives me that control over pee time. She uses it immediately. AN OBVIOUS SOLUTION TO AN AGE OLD PROBLEM Do any of you remember back in the 70s, when they said someone was going to bottle water, and sell it – and everyone laffed – who would pay for that, when they could get a glass from the kitchen sink!! Well, Fresh Patch is another winner, along the same line, as far as I am concerned. Why go out and “hunt” for the perfect spot, when home or traveling with your dog – when you can bring it right along with you! Who knew! Great job on inventing it.

Incredible Real Grass! Happy kitty!
Amazing customer service!!! The first patch we received the box was damaged and the grass was falling out of the box. It made a huge mess in my home. I was super disappointed with the delivery. I complained to Amazon and the seller sent another patch of grass at no cost which was delivered within a day. The shipping time is extremely fast. I purchased the large patch of grass for my two cats. Unfortunately, my indoor cats are afraid of the grass because they've never seen grass before and don't like the texture. They do enjoy snacking on it and haven't thrown up from it but they also don't eat a lot. The grass is REAL. It has soil and is moist! It's very lush! The website says it can last 1-6 weeks. I think cat owners will get the longest use out of this since cats just lay on it and don't pee or poop on it. I recommend keeping the grass in the box it came in. The lid can also be placed under the box for added padding and protection because the soil is moist. I think the value for this patch is great because it lasts so long. We are going on the third week of the grass and it still looks very green! My in-laws have an indoor/outdoor cat who LOVES his patch of grass. He is ALWAYS lounging on it when he's not outside. It's given him so much peace and comfort. I so badly want my cats to like the grass but they just don't unfortunately. But I definitely think my in laws will be purchasing more patches regularly for their cat. Super happy with this product and that it even exists! Although my cats don't care for it I am so happy they were able to see and experience grass in their life. I am grateful for that. Wonderful product! I initially was going to purchase the patch directly from their website but seeing that they're on Amazon made the process 100x easier for purchasing. Pictured is my in-laws cat on the grass. Update: grass is still going strong and we are on weak 4 however I noticed it is dry. So I think it would be worth lightly spraying or misting some water on the grass to keep it lush and moist. The grass has gotten flat because the cats sit or walk on it so that's normal. But it's still green!

Great for apartment living and potty training!
I live in an apartment and this is extremely ideal for my pup and fits easily on my balcony. Comes in super handy for the moments I’m unable to take him outside of the building for a walk/potty. It was also an absolute lifesaver for potty training. I find that it doesn’t have a super long lifespan - I replace it weekly which is really the only downside. However, the quick shipping and convenience outweigh the cost in my opinion.

Don't waste your Money
I have a senior blind dog that recently had started having accidents during the night. She is portly trained to go outside on the grass, so I decided to give this a try, so she could have somewhere familiar to go on the middle of the night. The box took longer than my usual Amazon packages to arrive, and when it did the cardboard was torn and falling apart (I ordered the large). I had to duct tape it back together so it would stay in place. The first day it look nice and green, my dog did not want to come near it. The second day I started seeing bugs coming out of it (dog still would not touch it), the third day I started seeing a fungus film starting to grow on it, by the 4th day it was already yellow and the thing was covered with this film of fungus. Thank goodness my dog never used it (I was still finding 'accidents'), who knows what was on it that could had been harmful to her. So, I basically bought an overpriced, over-sized petri dish that I had to mend together and only lasted 4 days. I threw that thing out because it was infested with fungus and bugs. I know the product looks good and in theory is very good idea, but just get yourself a crate tray and a patch of grass from your Lowes or Home Depot for $5 and you have the same product way cheaper. Do not recommend, don't waste your money.

Worked but lasted 5 days (25lb dog)
It didn’t last a week for me but worked like a charm. I have a 25lb 15yr old dog who isn’t consistent with holding his bladder at night. We got the large size. Today is day 5 and it was very smelly and very brown. Such a bummer. I love the concept though and it worked well the first few days. I think I might just get a roll of sod for $10 and refill a plastic tray over the week. I wish the product had a reusable tray and came with a couple pieces of sod to switch out. It would be so much nicer to be able to refresh especially because the shipping took a long while.

Lifesaver, SUPER convenient, but expensive and short lifespan.
This is a great idea. Living on an upper floor of an apartment building, and snow/temps in the 10's was causing a problem for my two small dogs. After reading the reviews, I bought a 24" square. It took quite a while to get delivered (8 days), but, it arrived in perfect shape. I was pleased to open the box and see a lush green chunk of sod. Note that these do not have soil on the bottom, but are grown hydroponically. This cuts down on the weight and the smell. Additionally, they ship it in an excellent wax-coated box that keeps liquids from soaking through. Why 3 stars? Well, it barely made it a week before it started browning. I've had it for 9 days now, and it's on its last leg. My dogs are 10 and 20 pounds, and they used it quite a bit, I will admit. I tried adding a little water, and always brought it in when the temps went below freezing at night. It started to get a bit of an odor - not urine/ammonia, but VERY earthy and damp smelling. Too much for inside use. Their website hints at 2, 4, even 6 weeks of use. I get how a perfect climate and a 3 pound dog using it once a day might make it 6 weeks, but I will most likely be pitching this at 2 weeks. They offer a magic spray on their website ($18!) that supposedly keeps it healthy and assists with breaking down the waste. Seems a little gimmicky to me, but I haven't tried it. All that said, yes, I will probably order another one. It's not cheap, but WOW is it nice to have this available at 2AM when it's 4 degrees out. I'm a little conflicted with using it, as it feels like the dogs are learning bad habits. Also, it's small enough that if you have a dog that needs to circle around 40X before they go, they often miss the grass. So, good product, albeit expensive, but for now it beats 20 elevator trips a day in freezing temps.

WAY better than puppy pee pads!
I got this for my daughter's 8-week-old puppy, and it has been amazing~ We didn't want to train her to use pee pads because we have a toddler that gets into everything, and it just made more sense to train her to go on grass. We live in an apartment complex that has designated doggy poo areas, and so we couldn't risk her catching something from another dog before she was able to get all her puppy shots. This real grass patch has been the perfect solution. We put it out on our private back porch and water it every few days with fresh water and it stayed alive for almost 2 months. We have her ring a little bell then put her right out on the grass patch and she goes straight away. Transitioning from this to going potty in the designated poo area is going to be a breeze after her final shots. We just cleaned up any poos at the end of the day and it stayed nice and fresh and never got stinky. I finally decided to replace it a couple days ago because we forgot to water it and it turned brown and just wasn't as pleasing to look at but she was still happy to go potty on it even at that point. The new patch arrived today in perfect condition and she instantly went potty as soon as I sat her on it. The size was perfect, the grass was soft and fully alive, and it has been the best puppy "tool" I have ever purchased. When it was time to get rid of the old patch, I just folded it in half inside its wax cardboard liner and slid it all into a trash bag - super easy and there were no pee stains or residue underneath the patch. Over all a great product and I will purchase it again even after she is able to potty outside once winter hits so she always has a nice, dry place to potty even when it is cold and rainy out.

Disappointed with this purchase after 3 years
I have been buying this grass for my Yorkie for 3 years, always green and lush. This time it arrived looking brown and nasty. Very disappointed.
