How wide is the chair ? Outside armrest too armrest?

This is not a good chair. When reclining the foot does not stay up. Im 5'8, weigh 185. I'm not happy with chair and it's sitting in my livingroom.

what is the interior width of the seat?

I don't know the width but I have it in a small 10X10 room that includes a full size bed. I purchased it for my tall, large teenager to sit in while playing video games. He loves it.
