Very comfortable, got good volume to it, u don't sink into the flooring holds u in good body alignment. It has very good depth .. I have had knee surgery this topper is super & it really helps with maintaining coolness..!! It's supportive to body..truly great choice well worth it will replace it with same when needed .... this is solid choice for post op comforts .. it would help with skin protection Looks great, best to use protective cover on it

I am THRILLED with the quality of this item. I have a king-size premium (expensive) mattress that is way too firm for me. I purchased a different foam topper from BB&B that was over $200 but never gave me comfortable sleep. I always woke up stiff. For a long time I just figured that was the best I could do. I finally decided to try a different brand of topper before cutting my losses and getting a whole new mattress. I've had this Sealy topper for a week and I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER. My back is no longer sore when I wake up. It is not too mushy or too hard. For me it's a GAME CHANGER. I am sleeping better and waking up refreshed. That being said, I think everyone has different preferences in mattresses, so I wouldn't expect it to be perfect for everyone. I'm 5'7,160 pounds and my wife (who also loves it) is of similar stature and for us I can't imagine a more comfortable bed. This was the best money I've spent in a long time. I can't discern if the cooling feature is different than what I'm used to or not. It's definitely not too hot, and MAYBE it's cooler than what I'm used too? I think the laws of thermodynamics limit how much ANY bedding material can make you feel cooler. Oh and the smell that all the reviews mention...yes it smells weird bad out of the box. I let it air out in a separate room for two days and then still smelled through the covers when I layed down. It is finally dissipated and not a problem anymore. I think that the temporary annoyance of a strange smell is a price worth paying for the comfort that this provides.

We had bought 2 XL Twin adjustable beds with Medium comfort “Tempur-Pedic” Mattresses. They were, in our experience, too firm. We were told by the furniture company we bought them from that they would get more pliable and after 2 months, they still were uncomfortably to firm.So I decided to purchase a memory foam topper for my mattress first to try it out. I chose the “Sealy Memory FoamTopper” with a cover. It was the perfect choice. I bought the another one for my husband. Super comfortable!I left his to air out for 24+ hours because it does have a strong industrial oder. It had no more oder after that and it’s super comfy. Sealy is a trusted name. I'm disappointed that the recent mattress topper i bought is not as good as the one i bought about 5 years ago (supposedly same brand and style). The old one is still comfortable. It looks different and feels different. The new one seems cheaply made and is soft....hurts my body.

Bad: 1. odor from unpacking is intense! Lasts about four hours (gave me a stinger of a headache). 2. Package is heavy so get a strong person to help not break your backGood: 1. I purchased this and let it air out for over a week. The smell was super strong. It smells like you are in the middle of an oil field. The mattress topper is comfortable; however the smell permeates everything including the bedding and the bedroom, even when all bedroom windows are open. The first night I slept on it I woke up the next day with the worst cough and so much congestion. Those resolved only after taking it out of my room. We let it air more so the off gassing could continue. We put it back on the bed last night and within an hour of being in bed, I had the worst coughing attack I have ever had and was literally choking from coughing. I had to get out of bed and sleep on the couch. The smell was still very strong and very toxic to my lungs. It causes me to wheeze like I have asthma (I do not have asthma or at least I didn’t before using this) and this morning I also have a very rough throat from one hour of exposure last night. These mattress toppers are made with volatile organic compounds which can be hazardous to human health. Though Sealy says that all of this normal, I don’t think it is normal to have sudden onset asthma and coughing attacks while sleeping. Buyer beware! This is not something that is easy to return after purchasing because it expands so much it will no longer fit in its original shipping container. Super thankful Amazon worked with me to refund my money. This mattress topper has made me sick. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Me gusto, compre un colchon firme y llego como piedra, este complemento es lo mejor ya que se adaptó y esta super bien, el gel da confort. Solo recomiendo si esperar las 24 horas para que se oree ya que viene compacto y seguir las instrucciones pues al día sig agarra forma y se infla al colchón. La verdad es una maravilla. Lo compre por las recomendaciones y ya tiene 1 mes y sigue intacto.

takes a while to get used to & makes the bed a lot higher

Mine arrived in perfect condition. I thought they sent me a twin at first, but it did expand to a double nicely and fits my bed properly. No bad smell. I bought the 3" one a couple weeks ago, but it was too squishy and sucked me in/ wasn't good for my back, so I decided to try this one. It's perfect, very happy with it. I've had a lot of foamies over the years and this one feels like good quality and has the right balance for this Goldilocks.

It’s honestly amazing. The foam is super soft by itself. When you add the down alternative layer on top it distributes the pressure evenly across a larger region therefore stops you from sinking in. As a result, the whole thing supports you super well.I’m super sensitive to smell, but after a day or two the smell is 99% gone and it’s almost just perfection.Just gotta leave it out for a day to air, clean the dust with a lint roller, and you are all set. (The foam surface is quite easy to accumulate dust particles during the airing in my experience)I use this topper on my ikea spring mattress which is quite firm. The result is magical. I have tried sealy foam topper before this, and i have to say this dual layer topper is well worth the cost.Highly recommended.
