Super Easy!
Super easy to open and replace the guts of my old key into and seal back up. Old key fully destroyed as was way less easy to open, but that’s not a worry of mine! Really helpful seeing as someone destroyed my handle at the lock attempting to steal my car, I no longer am in fear I can’t get into my car. Yay

Tossed in Trash
My husbands key/fob buttons were worn out. I thought this would be the solution so he could press the buttons again. Not user friendly and just tossed it.

Difficulties But Satisfied
It works fine with the exception of the key flipping up and out. Taking the old fob apart is not easy. I pried it open forcefully with a very large screwdriver. Once the parts were out, I took apart the new fob. I recommend watching the videos on Youtube to see this done and you get a good idea of how to do it. It only took me a few minutes to do whereas the videos I watched took them an hour or so. Using a very large screwdriver to pry it open worked well for me.Once you get the circuit board out and your old key blade, you can put them in the new shell. Remove the rubber piece in the new shell and align the circuit board with the battery side up. Make sure the small push buttons on the board are in line with the inserts in the rubber face where you press them. You have to take your old key blade and insert it in the new shell by inserting spring and twisting clockwise to wind the spring. This allows the key to pop up and out when you press the release button, BUT the hole on the new fob is a bit smaller which binds the key and won't allow it to pop up and out. (look at Youtube videos on how to insert old key into new fob). This is a common complaint on this.I put the key in as described above and aligned the outer trim while putting the two halves together and pressing until it all snaps in place. Take your time. This requires patience and a bit of mechanical ability. The new shell looks and feels like the original. The reasons I rated this as a 3 star is due to the difficulty of assembly, and the key not easily flipping out and up as it should. This is due to the hole where the key blade inserts into the new fob. The hole is a bit smaller and causes the key to fit snugly and bind the key.I am going to try and ream out the hole a bit more with a small drill bit and then reassemble. Hopefully that will solve the key binding issue. Overall, I am satisfied.

Saving money!
This saved me over $300. I had no problems with the battery inside my Hyundai key fob. I decided to do some research and saw that I could just replace the covering. My buttons had started to crumble to the touch after so many pushes. I was able to pop put the battery (just look up replacing key fob on YouTube and insert your make and model). Took me about 30 minutes to get it all done and now I have a fob that is programmed to my car and has working buttons!
