Not on Hard Services
I needed something to raise my John Deere 135 to change and sharpen blades. These rider ramps work almost perfectly. Why almost? The hype said it can be used on hard services as well as grass. Cement and asphalt are out of the question. I tried a rubberized mat which did not work for me. Perhaps if I had used a larger mat it might have. It was no big deal. I went to the grass and it work as stated. It is the perfect height to change the blades. I noticed other components that might need work on the tractor would be easier with the ramps.I think to work on cement or asphalt it would need more grip on the ramp bottoms. Doing the work in the lawn for me is no problem.

Even after reading reviews, I still bought, thinking I could get them to work, bad choice
After reading other reviews, I wasn't surprised that they just slid across the floor. But I have a big tractor with big tires, and thought maybe it would work, or I could devise a method. It didn't work. Didn't even begin to climb up. Coulda pushed them things to China. I ran a rope from the bottom of the ramp back to under the rear wheel. This stopped the ramp from sliding. You can't believe the tension on the rope. When backing up, they just flew out when wheel was halfway down. Even after all that they only lifted the mower deck less than 3". Cars rams are too long, and they block the opening to get to blades. I have to car in 4wd to climb up that shallow ramp. Bottom line is I am getting rid of them. I saw an ad from Harbor Freight for a hydraulic lift for mowers, lifts to 24" for only $80. Didn't try rhinos in the grass. My days of working on vehicles in the grass are long gone.

Worked perfectly on blacktop- At first.
Took these right out of the box and onto my driveway to try them out. Worked perfectly. They have a rubber strip that runs down the middle of each ramp. This seemed to grab my blacktop just fine and up I went. I wish they were a little higher but this is an inexpensive and hassle free way to raise the front of the machine for cleaning. I may still take the deck off to change blades.Update 6/14/2015Now I'm having trouble getting these to work on blacktop. They slide and this damages the rubber that seemed to to the job the first time. Best to on try these on the edge of the blacktop where they can still grip the grass.

Looks like I'll be removing the mower deck
It provides enough clearance to work underneath for some purposes, but I still could not remove the blade with a wrench (including a breaker bar), and there is not enough room for an impact wrench. As others have written, it does not work on concrete, or wet grass or wet dirt. Looks like I'll be removing the mower deck.

It works like I expected
These ramps allowed me to raise the deck of my mower so I could clean underneath and change the blades. They do have to be set on something - not cement - that will hold them while driving up on them, but that was expected. They appear to be solid enough to last a long time.

Once I figured out how to use it it was fine. I had to lay a 2x4 wide side down pressing the side away from the wheels against an immovable object (in this case the garage door floor driveway interface) the front wheels then rode upon it without it sliding.

Ok, nothing more.
Doesnt get the mower deck up very high, and you cannot use it on the driveway or the mower just pushes it along. I was able to use it on the grass, and was able to change the blades though. For the money, I guess its worth it.
