These blades fit perfectly after cleaning the deck. The was about 1/2 inch of build up on the entire deck. Once cleaned it cut like a brand new mower.

I bought these for a used GT5000. They are indeed OEM Husqvarna (who made the Craftsman tractors). They are nicely painted, which should resist rust for a while. Overall I am very happy with the quality.The metal is not soft, as some have claimed. I'm cutting trails on farmland; also I'm mowing grass growing up through a stone driveway, which causes a lot of small stones to be thrown up by the blades. Even after hitting larger objects, the blades seem to hold their edge well.As others have mentioned, the label is very hard to get off the top blade in the pack, and it is positioned right over the spindle hole. To get the label off, wet it with mineral spirits on a soaked paper towel, then let it sit for few minutes. Then take a straight blade window scraper, and slowly work the label off (keeping your other hand clear of the scraper path!). Applying more mineral spirits during the process helps.The cutting edges are not sharp enough for my likes. Some of the dullness comes from the heavy coating of paint, I think. But a quick touch up with a double cut file on each cutting edge will give you a good sharpness.

The blades I got were genuine OEM orange Husqvarna blades in OEM packaging(3 blades stacked in shrink wrap with Husqvarna emblem, etc.). These blades have held up very well on our Husqvarna yth24v48 tractor. The last set was replaced two years ago. The ones we are replacing were worn but not bent, and the reason we are replacing them is only because they are two years old and I'm replacing all 3 spindles on the deck. I bought two sets this time because I beleive replcement blades have been updated by Husqvarna and the orange blades may be soon unavailable.I bought these from Amazon which I do with all purchases at Amazon.com if I can because problems are most easily resolved when dealing with them. This was the absolute best price I could find for these anywhere and of course free shipping. I see that there have been some complaints about receiving black blades rather than orange in some reviews. I think these may be in some cases the updated OEM blades being sent out by Husqvarna as I have seen the blacks advertised on their websites by what I consider other very reputable vendors of OEM parts. Maybe the new ones are better, but I've had good luck with these and hey, they should be orange to go with the tractor.

Every thing was just fine

Much cheaper than in store. If you are going from the blades your Husqvarna came with new, they probably had an in between of a high lift and a mulching blade. These definitely provide more lift and a clean cut, but don’t dice the old clippings up as much as my old blades did. Your experience may vary, lol)Easy installation,Smooth rotation, no vibrations. it's strange that after ordering a set of blades like this from our local dealer and waiting a month with no blades in sight ,my son got on the computer and ordered these,and had them here in just a few days.we then ordered a second set,got them in,and still no blades from the dealer?!!also,like the ones the dealer ordered these blades are 1/2 inch longer then the blades on my mower.since I have tools to shorten and rebalance the blades,this was no problem.they work great,and really shoot the discharge out of the mower deck,just as I wanted.

I've gone way past what I should of for the blades on my riding mower. It's probably been three years now and I've noticed that when I mow my Bermuda grass, the mower will start to bog down. Bermuda is a pretty hardy grass anyways but if you have dull blades, it makes it even worse.I should've changed them a long time ago but there was always some excuse for not doing it but I figured I had waited long enough. I wanted the same blades that came on the mower from the factory and after checking my owners manual I found the model number and got these ordered.Wow, I waited way to long because I feel like I'm using a new mower again. The blades are working just like they should and you can't beat the price. I will definitely buy these blades again. They work fantastic.
