Let’s talk about the smell first. When I first tried it, I was somewhat annoyed by the smell. It reminded me of tobacco in a cherrywood pipe that my dad used to smoke when I was a kid. I think it was my association with smoke that made me dislike it at first. It smells masculine. But strangely, I’ve grown to actually like the smell.If you can get past the smell like I did, you will love the moisturizing properties of this shampoo and conditioner combo like I do. Within a few weeks, I noticed how lovely and soft my hair feels. Since Menopause, my hair is dry and tends to frizz rather than fall into its natural wavy curls. This product made my curls come back to life, and I’ve grown to actually like the smell.It’s been a year since I first bought my first bottle and I haven’t tried anything else since. My hair is so soft and shiny now and I just love this product.

My hair is thin & colored usually prone to dryness and breakage, but these products have really helped restore moisture and strength. The shampoo lathers up beautifully and cleans without stripping my hair, and the conditioner is rich and nourishing. My hair feels softer, more manageable, and noticeably stronger. I’ve noticed less breakage, and my hair has a healthier shine. I also love that these products are made with natural ingredients like castor oil and black cumin seed oil, which really seem to benefit my hair. Highly recommend if you're looking for something that works to nourish and strengthen your hair!

I'll start by saying I'm a white woman with 3a or 3b curls, depending on the day. I also have PCOS and just turned 40. My hair has always tangled and is somewhat thinning out from the PCOS.Carol's Daughter shampoo and conditioner have changed my hair after one use. The amount of breakage and fallout seen in my shower after rinsing and on my brush was half of what it normally is. HALF. I almost cried tears of joy. Then my hair dried and felt as soft as it did when I was like 13. I only had one tangle vs the entire back of my head (also, I sleep like a drunk tornado --- so if you're a restless sleeper, this saves SO much time when you have to comb it out). The smell is pretty nice, not overpowering, and doesn't make my husband's asthma flare up.The ingredients say ginger, castor oil, and cumin but I'm pretty sure there's some magic in here. I cannot stress enough the difference in softness, depressed breakage, and healthier feel of my hair. I usually use another brand's styling cream, but I'm thinking of just completely switching over.I wish I had tried this sooner. I wish I had tried to understand my curl type years ago. More than anything, I'm really thankful for the honest reviews that led me to trying it out.

I absolutely Love this Conditioner! The smell is amazing and leaves my hair soft and silky. I would recommend this product and also the Shampoo I will also say that the cost is fair for the quality you get. 🩷

How did I ever live without this?! This totally makes my hair feel rich and silky. The only drawback is the scent, as I am not a fan of sweet coconut-y smell. But other than that, this is an economical AND wonderful hair product for straight Asian hair. Four stars because of the strong scent. But I'm sure some people would love the rich scent!

Awesome conditioner!! Does not relax curls. Other conditioners take my curls out. Would like to see improvement in smell. Don't like shampoo as much although odor is good.

First, I don’t really write reviews but I’ve tried SO MUCH. I have thinning (menopausal), dry curls and live in a dry area. I have tried scalp oils, serums, extremely pricey shampoo and conditioners (even prescription!), vitamins, you name it. I had a flaky, red, itchy scalp.I bought the leave in first, then a 3.5 ounce of this conditioner from Walmart and it was great. I then bought full size shampoo, conditioner, and leave in. I have NONE of the issues I had before. This stuff is so good. If you’re on the fence just try it. It’s gonna. Jamie your hair.
