MeadPrimary Composition Book, Ruled, 100 Sheets/200 Pages (09902), 6 Notebooks

I get these for my Grade 1 students every year. The solid and broken blue lines and solid red lines are helpful for letter formation at this grade level. They are sturdy and easy for smaller hands and fingers to handle.

These are great composition books for elementary students. Surprisingly, it is hard to find these notebooks without the space for a picture.We use these constantly in our home to practice spelling words and work on stories and proper punctuation. I do wish they came in a variety of colors.

My six year old twins are learning ten new spelling words every week in school and are tasked with coming up with ways that help them learn the words. Something that worked well for me when I was younger, even though I hated doing it, was writing the word 5 times each. So a couple of days a week we will use these notebooks and the children will do spelling word practice. We will also use these books to do a practice spelling test. It is a great way to keep everything together in one place.I am so pleased hat the books are larger than others I have found 100 sheets of paper/200 pages is a great size. Another bonus is hat these books are strong bound so you don't have to worry about them falling apart like some of the others that have the binding made of a rubber glue.

I purchased this set last year for my son for 1st grade and I purchased this set again for my other son for his 1st grade class. I don't like the books that have half pages for coloring, it's a waste of space because they are doing a lot of writing and the lines help them so they know how to make the letters right instead of using 'wide ruled' books and having to double the use of lines. There is enough for I believe 12 lines of writing so they can write their 'heading' on the top two lines and 10 lines of for their assignment. So far no issues with loose pages are any defects. Good quality.

These are great. My son is using them to help him improve his writing and they are totally worth it

My toddler uses them every day to practice his handwriting and making sure all the letters are the same size. I wish they sold them in regular stores.

Pages are fully covered with writing lines. Different than the light blue primary composition books that I bought last year which had half page of lines and half page of blank area for pictures. Not sure which school prefers as they didn't specify anything more than "primary composition notebooks" so hopefully these work out for my first grader! Good quality overall. I usually stick with Mead products.

Very good notebook. The paper quality is great - smooth and white. The lines are printed very clearly, no fading or bleeding through.
