My partner has early onset Alzheimer's but still wants to remain active. Several months ago he expressed interest in getting a metal detector so he could more time spend time outside in a safe environment. I went to Amazon and investigated several machines. This machine has all the bells and whistles that I was looking for-especially the feature that detects the difference between iron and other metals. I gave it to him for Father's day and he was delighted!! It was so easy to put together. We went out the next day to try it and it works like a dream!! He has not found much, just a few coins, but the enjoyment he gets from being outside using the machine is worth every penny. I would highly recommend this machine to anyone. I especially like the arm handle, and I was surprised that a small shovel was included that makes his digging for treasure even easier. Thank you for a great product!!!

I bought this metal detector as a hobby. Shipping was super fast and I received it the day after I bought it. The kids find it entertaining to search, find and dig up items that the metal detector finds. The product was packaged nicely and all pieces were in great condition and nothing was missing. Assembly was easy and within minutes after assembling the detector I was outside finding "hidden treasures". The search coil is large and solid. The LCD display is easy to see and easy to navigate. The sensitivity can be adjusted to search different depths from 2 to 8 inches. It can be used to detect all metals or you can select to search for different types. The sound that it emits when something is detected is loud and it comes with headphones if you prefer to not bother others around you when items are found. The metal detector is lightweight and very easy and comfortable to hold. The metal detector also comes with a small camping type shovel with a compass and a nice carrying bag to store the detector in when not using it. All in all I feel this is a solid product and would reccomend to anyone looking.

I’ve had the metal detector for a few weeks now and had planned on doing a video review but I haven’t been able to get the time to do it. I however have used it several times. Does it work? Yes. Does it work well? I’m not sure to be honest. Everything I have found has been scrap metal and/or things I can not identify. Is it easy to put together? It’s fairly easy to put together even though the instructions are not the greatest. Is it easy to use? Again, the instructions are not the greatest I have no idea if I’m using it correctly but I am finding stuff. Is this metal detector worth the money? If your new to metal detecting I’d say yes most definitely worth the money. You can get it and if you like the hobby you can get a more expensive model down the line.

Great product for this price. Shipped fast. After unboxing which was done clean, it was simply ready to go after plugging cable and screwing 10inch disc to lower section of the detector. Has great features, not annoying sounds, LCD Display makes easy decisions if it's worth digging or not by using a Quarter imagewhich is good or screws/ nails for penny's worth material. Made good material ,hard plastic and feels good on arm with strap. The "Pinpoint" button makes accurate calls by telling you exactly where to dig and the deep gauge is pretty dead on. Worth the amount, adult or kid it's a easy product to use. On a side note you can get help and support fast from seller and they wanna know if you need any help. Comes with cool shovel and accessories, bag. Can't go wrong here, I did my research and looked for weeks and reading reviews ( first day found some old nails from 40', silver and copper. I prefer over by bounty hunter detector. Enjoy!

Easy to put together but I am having a tuff time picking out signals. I was in the GA Mountains and the Iron is so high the stupid thing would not shut up. But for gold it was a bust. I guess I need a Gold Detector before I go out to CO.

I was really pleased with this metal detector. First impression was packaging seemed legit. Packed well, felt heavy, not cheap looking which were all encouraging.The assembly was pretty easy. Figured it out in 5 minutes without looking at the manual. Could have been three if I wasn't so stubborn.Took it for a spin right out of the gates by throwing some pocket change in the front yard. It detected the quarters as quarter size objects and pennies as penny size objects.Tools only a few minutes to figure out what the sounds meant and where the sweet spots were. The pinpoint button works perfectly.The icing on the cake was the bag and the shovel. The carrying case was a nice touch and will make it SO much easier to take out and about. The shovel I haven't used yet, but it converts to a pick axe which is pretty sweet.Overall, well worth the money. I've had several in the past. This one is better.

I had high hopes for this metal detector but it was extremely disappointing. When testing it using coins thrown into the yard, the detector would not consistently sound off when the detector coil passed over the coins. Sometimes it would sound off, sometimes not. The detector could detect that something metal was underground but it was unable to do so consistently enough to enable object pin-pointing. In later tests, I had to use a separate detector to conduct adequate pinpointing to be able to find the objects. The detector does have adjustable settings to cause the detector to ignore or alert on different types of metal, which seemed to work. The detector could also detect items at least six inches underground. However, it would not consistently alert on the object at the same location during each pass or partial pass- making pin-pointing the object ineffective. The detector is also prone to picking up a lot of electrical interference, which the instructions warn you about. Perhaps this is what throws off the coils and makes detection inconsistent. This metal detector has a lot of "bells and whistles" but it does not perform its basic function very well- helping you to detect, pinpoint and uncover metal objects with precision and ease. I would not recommend this metal detector to anyone.

It’s a good machine. We bought it just for fun to see if we could find any old coins. So far we have not but it works perfectly to detect lots of types of metals underground.

Haven’t used yet as it is a Christmas present. Came with everything pictured and packaged well. Just a little disappointing that I paid $300+ and a week later it’s out for $195.

Had to go to youtube, but it did work and I did find 2 wheel nuts I lost in the forest in 2 different locations
