PEDAL COMMANDER for Acura RDX (2013-2018) (2nd Gen) Base, Advance Package, Technology (3.5L) Throttle Response Controller - PC21

I put keys 50 feet away. Set 10 minutes timer. Tried to start car to verify key was out of range. When I started car MANY errors. Car would not accelerate at all regardless of settings on device. I turned car off, pulled battery connection, waited 5 minutes and restarted. Same issue with MANY errors and car would not accelerate. Crawled under dash, removed the device,pulled battery connection, waited 10 minutes then car ran normal again. I suspect that I was not sent a new device, perhaps it was returned as defective?
