The Power of a Praying Parent

i love this book! it is actually a replacement for the same book i had bought when my kids were young. it had gotten worn from using it so much. i was happy to find another copy of the exact book.i like the stories she tells about her children. the prayers are long but good at the same time.

This book has been a part of me raising my girls. I am now about to purchase the praying for adult children. I thank God for this book because it is Biblical and consistent

There is most definitely power in prayer!This book has been a reminder of that fact!Currently, my 20 year old is going through a very rough time with “everything”! I bought “Praying for your adult child” and while it’s great, it didn’t seem to match the issues she has been struggling with. This book most definitely does!!!!! (Her future, dating, family ties, choices, her sense of self/self esteem, having God in her heart, struggles ect ect ect….)My only regret is not buying this book sooner! This book applies to praying for young children, high school children and even adult children!!!Make sure you get this one; not the book of short stories (I’m sure that’s great too but I needed serious, drop to my knees help!)The first night I prayed for her, using this book, as the tears flowed, I could feel my empty heart filling with God’s love. For the first time in a long while, I felt at peace. Instead of my mind racing with fear and “what if’s” Instead my mind was filled with HOPE and with the knowledge the GOD HAS MY GIRL!Before purchasing, I read a review that stated the constant she (him), he (she), (child’s name) thing was annoying. I found that ridiculous because I felt it only personalized it (which it does).However, being deep in thought, praying; pausing for each set of parenthesis became a HUGE distraction.I corrected this by writing her name over (“name of child”) and marking through he or him w a pencil! Worked beautifully!(*see pic)I ordered a copy for a friend struggling with discipline and respect from her young children! Can’t wait to give it to her!Buy this for your children!!Buy this for the children of everyone you care about!! ❤️

This book is great for fathers. I buy this one to give new dad's as a gift. The prayers work for babies, young children, teens, and adult children. Mom's can also use these prayers too. I am glad I found this book to support parents as they raise and guide their precious child or children.

Omartian's Praying Parent is yet another one of her amazing books. This title aimed at the general audience of people who take on roles of guidance to young people. where she is vulnerable and talks to her reader. Guiding us spiritually and providing scripture for a gentle read and guidance.
