Fully stainless steel Moka Pot
The media could not be loaded. In my view the Groenenberg 4 espresso cups (200ml) Moka Pot looks good and it's a quality product fully made of stainless steel. I already had Bialetti aluminium 3-4 cups Moka Pot. Some people says that aluminium may not be best for making coffee so I wanted to get a fully stainless steel pot.I've read some research about "Migration of aluminium from food contact materials to food". The research says that both aluminium and stainless steel pots are safe to use as the migration of metal in both is negligible. Despite this I still prefer stainless steel as it looks great and it's easier to clean. The size is nearly the same as Bialetti 3-4 cups (see the comparison photo). The amount of water is nearly the same in both, around 200ml (3//4 of a standard 250ml cup). This is enough for either one big (for some standard) coffee or for 2 lattes or 2 cappuccinos or for 4 small espressos. You may also want to add some water to make americano. The coffee made by this moka pot is pretty strong and some people may actually prefer to dilute it with water or with milk.Good points:- the water chamber is made of stainless steel only.- the handle is made of stainless steel too. I've noticed that in previous reviews people complained that there was a screw made of standard metal which was rusting with time. The screw is not there any more and the handle is now different so this has been resolved.- there was extra silicon seal in the box.- the seal has got a small "handle" by which you can pull the seal out of the pot for cleaning. This is nice addition as in Bialetti I had to always use a knife of other sharp tool to remove the seal. Not really a big deal though.- The top closing cover is also made fully of stainless steel and it is connected by either heated seam or by some pressed into each other metal surfaces. So this is another change from the previous model I think.- the coffee container and the sieve insert are made of stainless steel too- coffee is strong and in my view this types of moka pots exceeds any standard home use coffee maker (unless you get one which cost hundreds of pounds and takes plenty of usable kitchen space). this pot is small and portable and you can even take it with you for hikes or adventures if you wish.In my view the Groenenberg pot heats quicker than the aluminium ones. Coffee taste great and I use the moka pot every day. I hope that it will last for few years at least. I only have this since few days so I may provide update after some time of using the pot. In my view the pot is of solid construction, sleek design and good quality stainless steel was used. I would recommend this moka pot.

Just awesome
Absolutely the best. Robust and easy to use. Makes such good coffee that I use it instead of. £1200 machine next to it! Took it camping, absolutely awesome. Do not DO NOT buy the cheap alternatives. This is so well made. I wouldn’t get the smaller ones as a thimble full of coffee is not satisfying. The one I bought was for 4?! Cups. Well it’s good for a nice half a mug of very strong coffee for one! And it sits nicely on a camping stove. Get the one for 8 cups if you want strong coffee for 3/4 people.

Worth every penny
This is a very sturdy pot. It is well engineered heats quickly and pours really nicely. It works on an induction hob. Only the bottom part is magnetic however there is no visible difference in quality between the top and bottom. I have little to compare it against as I have only used cheaper aluminium pots before. This is one of the best quality items I have purchased on Amazon and I believe it will last for a very long time based on its appearance after daily use.

Poor Engineering on Pressure Valve - Fails Every Time!
The media could not be loaded. This is now the third Groenenberg Moka Pot I have had that has failed in the same way. Each time the pressure valve on the side seems to blow, which then leads a spray of steam ejecting from the bottom half instead of percolating into the top half. I have uploaded a video of it which shows the steam blowing out of the faulty valve, and the resultant dribble of coffee that it makes from then onwards. The first pot I had blew within a month, and so Amazon sent me a replacement. The second one blew a few months later, and I just bought a replacement one rather than make a second claim (more fool me!). This third one has now blown after just over a year. It's a shame as it makes nice coffee and it looks good - but the engineering clearly has a flaw, and Groenenberg is impossible to contact (eg. for a replacement valve). The product support page seems to be for a bread making machine rather than a coffee machine. So, because of yet another blown valve, this is my third Moka pot in two years that I am having to throw away. I will not buy again.

Excellent value
I wanted to find a non-aluminium moka style espresso pot, and every other one I ordered came with a teflon-like coating on the inside of the bottom water reservoir -- exchanging one poison for another, in my opinion! This pot is lovely plain stainless steel throughout. But beyond that essential (for me) characteristic, I was very pleasantly surprised at the build quality -- this is proper, heavy duty, weighty stainless steel. They also very helpfully included a spare silicon gasket, since these do degrade over time. The pot is very straightforward to use and works very well. The accompanying booklet gives step-by-step instructions for newbies, including a very useful section on common mistakes. This pot costs a bit more than some stovetop espresso pots, but the build quality is definitely worth it. I have a gas stove, so I can't comment on how it performs on an induction hob, but given the quality of the steel, I should think it would be fine. I imagine it could go in the dishwasher, too, but that is in general not a good idea, as it will reduce the lifetime of the silicone gasket. Plus it's really not necessary -- a quick rinse and wipe out is all you need. I like a great big milky latte, and this 4-cup pot makes enough for my morning monster mug (probably 2 more normal sized coffees). Definitely recommend.

Lasted about one year
Great item overall, lasted for about a year though. The lid fell off when I was washing it. A rather weak weld to the main body of the pot.
