Chameleon, Chameleon Hardcover – April 1, 2005

This book is the story of a chameleon told as a narrative with real photographs and the pictures are amazing! The photographer explains his painstaking process in getting these images in the epilogue but the story itself is simple and darling. My 6yr old loves it!

2 Preschool grandsons love this book. They are much into Chameleons now since watching Disney’s Tangled. Good to learn real facts about animals. Great pics

I left feedback on this book before but guess it did not go through. The pictures are so GOOD and children will love this book. I work with them at my church. I will tell others about Amazon.com and how much you have to offer in a LOT of areas.

This is a cute simple book with a nice story, colorful pictures and educational material in the end.

This is a used book from the a Columbus School of Girls, labeled as “acceptable”. I do see that the book is marketed as used, but in good condition. This book has multiple sharpie marks covering the school stamp, library stickers on the cover and a section of the cover is cut out of the back. Not even acceptable in my opinion.

This book is for a young child. I wish the information had expressed that. I would not have bought it.

If you have ever wanted to learn more about chameleons this is the book for you. It features several chameleons and follows then through out their day. We see their homes, we find out how they catch their prey and how they eat it. We also we how they react to one another. The authors note in the back of the book gives lots of factual information on chameleons.This truly delightful book gives a surprising amount of information. It would appeal to any age level, though its simple text is designed for a younger audience.Yes The full color photos of the chameleon are great!

for a young budding herpetologist. I also ordered a chameleon toy to go with it. The photos are beautiful and the text is appropriate for a child. I was very pleased.

Great photos and a simple but informative text, which my 4 and a half year old grandson has memorised and can ‘read’ me the book. He can fill in lots of the final two pages that are full of extended information too. With the ‘Red-eyed Tree Frog’ also by Joy Cowley, these have been favourite books during his visits.
