Lovely bright warm light. So surprised we could get this amount of light without electricity

These lights are perfect. After building a new deck I wanted to get some lights for the partial roof. Finally come across these and absolutely love them. The light they put out is perfect. It is summer so not sure how long they last, bit more than 3 hours. Only had them a week so no idea how long they will last but thinking of getting another set to continue the ambiance to another area.*Update* After a few months these lights have been perfect. Love sitting out on my deck with a cold beverage under these lights. I'm not sure how long they stay on but I've had to get up at 4 AM and they are still on with the same output at 9:30 PM. Very pleased with these lights.*Update #2* So been a couple of years and some bulbs burned out. Contacted Brightech and they had me some replacement bulbs shipped under their warranty in less than a week. Back to full lighting and what a wonderful company to deal with.

The first thing I'd recommend is that you'll want to place the solar panel in direct sunlight for a couple of hours. The worst thing you want to do is mount and hang your lights only to find out that they do not function. Luckily that does not seem to be the case with these when I got them. Once you've given it enough time to charge the battery, you can then cover the sensor to see if they work.You do have a few mounting options; either mount to a wall, use the provided clamp, or use the pike to spear the ground if that is a better solution for your use case. Screws are included should you go the wall mount method. Once you've mounted your solar panel/battery, you can then screw on the connector for the lights which presents the next problem: the built-in hooks don't grant a lot of options to naturally hang these lights. If you're draping the wire over beams or branches, sure that'll work with no need to buy extra hardware. If you're deliberately looking to mount somewhere, you'll need to consider hooks, mounting hardware, etc. Since I can't really permanently install hooks into my railing, I went with 3M Command Strips that would support the lights via the wire and not the hooks or light housing themselves.Installation issues aside, the product info mentions about 5-6 hours of run time on a full charge. I've had these turn on a little after 7:00PM and would still see them working at 5:00-6:00AM the following day and would automatically shut off when enough light is detected. Your mileage may vary depending on how bright/dark the area is where you install these lights. It's nice that I don't have to think about turning these lights on/off when I'm at home or away that really gives the impression that someone is home.It seems to have held up over five month's time in different weather conditions ranging from really hot days to the 40's (Fahrenheit) in both rain and shine. Haven't had snow yet to determine if that'll have a major impact on the performance/duration of these lights. LEDs have held up as well and it's nice to know that they offer replacement options should components fail. Overall, not bad for the price. You'll just have to think about a mounting solution for these for your use case. One thing I have noticed is that there doesn't really seem to be a way to daisy-chain multiple lights together. I'm not sure if this was intentional. I haven't experimented if you could splice in another string of lights on a singular battery/panel. If you need to install more than one set of lights, you'll have to take multiple solar panels into consideration. It doesn't seem like Brightech offers a solar panel/battery unit that has more capacity to address this.

These little lights were a pleasant surprise once they turned on at night. We get sun over half the day, so these lights stayed lit from dusk until dawn. The description says its made of glass, but thankfully mine was made of plastic. They have so far withstood the brutal Texas summers with countless days of scaldingly hot direct sunlight with triple digit heat, and they seem to be doing well in the rain. We are subjected to ice storms every winter season, so hopefully these lights will survive. The light is a warm yellow, with a perfect evening ambiance of neither too bright or too dim. Definitely a great buy that adds a lovely welcoming touch to our balony.

I had lights on our balcony prior & it looked really nice. They after two years needed to be replaced. Decided to give these a try since they are solar & electricity keeps going up.Put them up, they were dim the first night but adequate.On the third day I went out side…. Light bulb is not on already. A couple of the reviews mentioned this problem, hopefully they will replace the bulb. Other reviews said the bulbs are hard to find.I will be calling the manufacturer tomorrow morning.We will see how it goes.UPDATE; I just called & was connected & taken care of with no fuss. Sending me a new bulb.They won me over !

I bought a string of these about a year ago and just purchased a second! All the bulbs still work perfectly and the fact that they are solar powered is really nice. I have them below our deck and over the deck, so I have lights that automatically come on outside the house when it gets dark - safe and cute! The bulbs do sometimes get loose and you have to screw them back into place, but other than that, 1 year later I'm still pleased with my purchase

I was very happy with the look of these. They typically last all night on a charge. However, in the first year several lights have stopped working. Questionable durability. Will need to replace them.

These solar powered lights are FANTASTIC! Perfect warm yellow light. They are bright and last a very long time. Perfect size, not too big, not too small. There is the option to clip the panel on a rail or to nail/sink it on the ground or a plant pot for the best orientation to get the most of the sun during the day. My balcony looks finally like the cozy place I wanted. Very happy with them.

We love these lights. We started with 2 sets for home, bought 2 more for our beach house and another 2 sets for home. They are reliable and a really nice warm colour. I love coming home in the dark and seeing them on: so welcoming.

I did a lot of research into solar lights and these came highly recommended. I purchased 2 sets in August 2022. Both sets worked well initially and looked beautiful. 3 months later only one set works.I have checked all the bulbs etc but nothing works. Sadly the return window is only 12 weeks so I'm now stuck with a broken product. I would have assumed I would get a bit more value for money for a $60 product.I'm disappointed.

This product is well built. However, I wish that they solar panel battery has a bigger capacity, or the light strings could be connected to a power bank via usb or has the flexibility to connect to an AC power if needed. I do not mind the increase in price or having to pay additional for accessories. Hope the company takes this feedback and improve on their product.

These are my second set of these solar lights. They are not super bright but they do provide a nice glow that sets a party mood. This second set however there were two bulbs that look like they are a bit melted or crushed. I believe they are in fine working order however so Im going to keep them. I do recommend them. I can't wait to complete the look.
