Wherever You Go Board book – Picture Book, February 12, 2019

I don't usually review books, but this is by far the best children book I've ever bought!While the poetry is nice, the book's illustrations really make it stand out.Our 2,5 year old loves it, and requests it every night!The images are of a picturesque animal land, where a rabbit will meet other animals, and travel to some part of his world.The images are well thought out, and they have a lot of detail in them, allowing you to find new things, every time you re-read the story.Personally, the poetry is beyond my 2,5 year old's capacity to understand, but the pictures fit well with a nice self-invented story.Not to be proud, but my 2,5 year old is ahead of her age, mentally.So if you have a 3 to 3,5 year old, and need a book, this book is by far the best read!Unlike so much junk that's been sold, the author of this book, really put thought to the details;And it's those details, combined with the nice scenery, that make this book worthwhile!

This book is DELIGHTFUL. The writing is excellent and the illustrations are super rich. I really enjoy reading this one! There's a great tempo and a beautiful message about coming exploring the world and coming home. HIGHLY recommend. It ranks in my top five board books -- All the World, Wherever You Go My Love Will Find You, Are You My Mother? Wherever You Go, and Till the Cows Come Home.

They say don't judge a book by its cover but, let's be real, we all do! "Wherever you go" is a beautifully written poem about roads and the journeys and adventures they take us on. The illustrations are absolutely breathtaking double spread tapestries! Each page filled with little details that Rai loves pointing out- "Look! A VAN! OOOH Elephant!".This little board book makes a lovely wind-down story at night and also a fun way have little ones doing a search and find for various characters/items!Happy reading everyone!

Allllright. So, this is the first review I have ever written on Amazon. And I have to say, I absolutely love this book. And so do my kiddos. My boys are 4&5 and absolutely love it. I have read it to them every night since we got it and I actually got it for my one year old daughter for Christmas since it was such a beautiful little board book. It has the most incredible illustrations and I absolutely love the story. Apparently it isn't for some people and that's ok but if you have a love for art and can appreciate that as well as the sweet message centered around this book I think you will love it too. No it's not specifically about the rabbit and his friends and it doesn't talk about them so if that's what you are looking for I would try another book. Also, someone mentioned her son finding some of the illustrations dark? I wouldn't really agree with that, some of the pictures are night time soooo it's dark? Ones in the city and one is in the woods but I wouldn't consider them scary at all. Anyways, this is my new favorite children's book 😂❤️

Bought for my niece. Can't wait to read it. I love the storytelling done through images in this book. So cute and sure to be a classic.

In a backwards kind of way (usually I find the books for our toddler granddaughter, but she found this one for ME), this book just reminds me of how splendiferous it is to travel out and about in every possible way in any possible direction and be out in the world, exploring, adventuring. I so love and miss that kind of energy, because Covid right now, but someday again.... in the meantime, on the cover, there goes Rabbit on their bike, where roads reach and grow, and take you anywhere. Even home again! It covers so many traveling-journeying things with such wisdom and gentle awareness... I love that Miss Baby found this book for me. And for her! Wherever You Go is a happy book, and it is our best hope that she will also be able to travel in the world someday soon! In the meantime, this BOOK is our adventure together. For ALL ages, perfect graduation gift, too!
