I needed this size hole saw to drill a hole in a new aluminum pole for an electrical outlet. Might never use it again for the rest of my life. Worked just fine. I can't speak to the quality of the bit, how long it would last with continued use, etc. It did what I wanted it to this one time with no binding; drilled right through smoothly. And, it fit with the Arbor I had with a hole saw set that lacked this particular size.

I needed to drill a 1 3/8 inch hole through some 16 gauge stainless steel and this hole saw worked perfectly for me.It mounts on a hole saw arbor. You'll need one of those if you don't already have one. For this size hole saw, I would recommend using a 1/2 inch drill and an arbor that includes a 2-pin drive plate.

Nearly all the photos show the arbor already on and I mistook this for a one piece unit. This is overpriced and a bit misleading. Likely a decent quality part once I find it's better half but as this was a one off project - I don't actually care. I ordered this expecting to save time.

Great quality. Make sure you have the adapter and starter drill that screws into it. I already had one.
