Why did you pick this product vs others?:Have used plastic filler straws and they always started leaking after a couple uses. Like this one for ease of cleaning with the included brush.

This professional stainless steel bottle filler is a great ideal tool for any brewer. Its functionality is great, durable, not messy leakage during operations, it's easy to use and offers great value for money. It reduces bottling time greatly, though when buying it you need to purchase connectors too.

The media could not be loaded. This is much higher quality than the clear acrylic one that I've been using for years. I wish that the tip was a little bit longer for wine bottles that have a large punt. Other than that, I am very happy. It's not impossible to fill wine bottles but it can be a bit of a challenge trying to get it on the raised area of the bottom of a wine bottle. I would imagine this would be perfect for beer. Just glad to finally have stainless steel that will last a heck of a lot longer than the cheaper acrylic tubes.

Very nice product as far as quality.I thought this would be better than the cheap plastic version. But with the spring and rubber grommet on the check valve, it is difficult to use. I need three hands: one to activate the check valve and two to prime the auto siphon. The check valve works almost too well.The cheap plastic version does not use a spring. So, I will attempt to use this very nice metal bottle filler without the spring on the next fill. This may alleviate the issue.4 stars for having to modify the product, but it is a lot better quality than the cheap plastic version.

I have used this to bottle over 600 bottles.It works to eliminate foam while bottling.The ends unscrew for easy cleaning.It is working as good as new.

This has been a great bottle filler for me! My only wish was there was a button on the side that would open and close instead of a spring loaded valve at the bottom. Would make so you could top off a bottle a lot easier, but that would be a completely different design. It operates as it should and hasn't failed yet after bottling a LOT of bottles!

I am an all grain home brewer who doesn’t keg... 100% bottle condition my beer. 5-6 gallon batches. Brew 4-5 times a month. Was getting frustrated with how slow the cheap plastic bottle fillers are and worried about really being able to sanitize it. Always on my hands an knees looking for the spring! Today I used this stainless steel bottle filler for the first time and bottled a dry hopped Pale Ale. It filled a bottle so much faster - maybe 75% faster? So far so good. Only comment and not a criticism - just a learning curve - if you are filling bottles with a curved bottom, you need to pay extra attention to make sure you place the spring loaded mechanism exactly on the center or you won’t fill the bottle. Flat bottom bottles are no problem! Wish I knew about this product sooner.

This unit is everything the manufacturer claimed. It flows when at the press on the bottom of the bottle and when you pull it.off, it shuts off. It is easy to clean.I recommend this to anyone who makes beer, wine, or mead.
