HaywardGLX-PCB-DSP Aqua-Rite PCB Display, Black

Purchased this display board for my Aqua Rite Electronic Chlorine Generator made by Goldline Controls Inc. which is now a Hayward company. I was having problems with my generator not dipalying the proper settings for the desired chlorine level selected. I removed the display and cleaned the contacts and the selector switch with a contact cleaner but this did not resolve the problem. I contacted Goldline Controls and the technician walked me through the diagnostic and determined the problem was the display board and gave me the the exact replacement model (GLX-PCB-DSP).I called the local pool supply shop and found out the cost for a new display board would be $220 but the item was not in stock. Since the unit is six years old, I was not willing to pay that much for a mere display unit. I decided to look for a replacement unit, which I found for $875 (new) online, and use the old unit for spare parts as needed. Prior to ordering the new unit, I googled "Hayward GLX-PCB-DSP" and found out Amazon had the exact item (new) for less than $87. The item arrived within a few days even though I used the free Super Saver shipping.The display board is extremely easy to replace. Cut power from the chlorinator, unplug the white T cell cable, and remove the two screws that hold the cover in place. Remove the disply unit and plug in the new board. Make sure you don't bend any of the contacts. Replace cover and screws, plug in the T cell cable, restore power, and you're done. Total time to replace...less than 5 minutes.New replacement board is slighly different than original because it's a newer model. The dimensions are the same and all holes align properly. Also, the new board features LED lights which are much brighter than the original lights.Extremely satisfied with the purchase. Problem was fixed quickly and I saved about $130.I would also like to mention that this is my second Aqua Rite system I have owned. My first one was destroyed by Hurricane Ivan in 2004. Over the years, I have contacted technical support at Goldline controls, via phone, a few times with excellent results. My questions were always quickly answered and the technicians quickly walked me through any required diagnostic procedures. Impressive technical support.

Only after sifting thru the other reviews did I stumble across my same issue!Issue: Digital readout higher than knob setting, out of whack. Would not hold setting.Fix: Replaced with this new part and it is working perfectly!Opted for the name brand because I wanted the OEM part and not take chances with something else.

Perfect plug-in replacement for the original display module on the power circuit board and super easy to install. Saved me the expense of replacing the entire power circuit board.

Received on time and packaged well, it installed easily and works as intended, one issue was that the placement of the screen and buttons are slightly off compared to the original, so the cover plate of the Aqua Rite won't fit over it so either you have to modify the openings or skip the cover (not a good idea!). Overall, would recommend.

My chlorine setting was off when I would turn the knob and the number would jump up and down. This part was very easy to install and fixed the problem. I have only been using it for a few days and hoping it will last for several years.

My "Blue Essence" Hayward Salt Generator (Same as Aqua Rite unit) started acting strangely. When I rotated the knob it would act like a random number generator instead of a smooth rotation and sequence of numbers from 0-100%. So it was difficult to set a percent output anywhere in the range. So for the time being I just set it for something around 67% until I could get a fix or a new board. Discovered this new Display board here for what I think is a good price and it fixed the problem. I received the new board in one day and it was in a sealed plastic pouch in it's own box. Very happy with outcome.

Easy to install and worked immediately on my 2006 Hayward Goldline Controls salt system version 1.4.Just plug it into the main board and you are up and running.

This part was easy to install, easy to read, and solved my problem. I did call tech support for help on an adjustment. They answered immediately and resolved my issue immediately. Great service!

Need it as a replacement part on my Salt Chlorine generator. My pool repairman came one day to replace the pump and created a short circuit that blew it away. I wasn't sure if the main board was also affected but since this component cost less than the main board, I started by trying to replace it. Putting it in place is really easy as I have no electronic or electric skills. It works like a charm.
