CAUTION-INK FADES OVER TIME!!!!
I thought I finally found the one that really works...It completely blacked-out what I needed to be redacted. But, sometimes it is wise to delay judgement! I had a lot to do, only did a partial amount if the total amount if documents. Came back to finish the work after ~ a couple weeks, snd I was horrified. I was thankful that I procrastinated, this time. The ink absorbed into the paper when completely dry and becomes sheet—looses pigment. I could read everything !!!! It was not all the same paper—diff bills, bank statements and other sensitive documents. If you buy it-test it!If I was super efficient with the task, I would have put it in the trash right after iI used the roller, when opacity was dark blank and ink appeared pigmented. The actual roller is great! Perhaps, buying different ink from a diff supplier? Put then you have to empty it, then replace. Not sure I want to attempt it-assume it would be very messy. The actual roller is perfect, the ink is not! .just a “minor” problem!!! All I can say is test it over days/weeks....then decide. I noticed in after 2-3 weeks-do not know when it started to fade. It’s a bit scary-it gave me a sense of security which wasn’t accurate. TEST IT!!!

It works…kinda
For certain types of paper and certain types of ink on that paper, it MAY work. I’ve tried it on several different mediums and it’s mostly a fail. When I first rolled it on, it looks nice and dark with dull coverage but as the ink dries, you can see exactly what was written on it.

Nice and easy
So I got tied of tearing off my name from every piece of junk mail before throwing in the recycle bin. I know sounds silly to do that but things are not like they used to be, people scam everything. This little roller is easy to use a couple of swipes and names are blanked out, and I keep it on my desk for when I am opening mail. I use it on all those credit card offers and even envelopes. An ODC happiness.

I’m so glad to have this! I use it to block identifying information on documents. Gives me peace of mind.

It works for some items, not all
If the text you're trying to block out is from a laser printer you'll still be able to read the information, the original text will be shiny and still readable. Most junk mail is like this. Also, even though it's new and has ink I sometimes have to run this across text a few times for full coverage.

WE SHOULD ALL BE USING THIS
I will buy again. Just cover up your personal info before tossing into trash or recycling. Covers well, and came with two refills that are easy to use. Mine did not include instructions on refilling, but I looked it up.
