PetAmi Dog Blanket, Sherpa Dog Blanket | Plush, Reversible, Warm Pet Blanket for Dog Bed, Couch, Sofa, Car

My dog loves his blanket he received from Santa. Very soft, does not leave fuzz anywhere, bright colors, warm, super thin and not waterproof one bit, but he loved snuggling up in his own blanket. I posted 2 pictures that I took after the first washing. Strings of fabric unraveling all over it😠😬 What a bummer! After inspecting, the unraveled strings hold the Sherpa to the fleece, if I cut the strings off or down, then the front and back of the blanket would not be attached together, making it bunch up. Also, it is not waterproof at all. The fabric they used is known in any fabric store to wick fluids and absorb them for maybe 20 seconds to 1 minute so ya gotta act fast and scoop it up. My dog threw up on it with me right next to him. After making sure my sick pup was done, I scooped up the blanket and the underneath pad was soaked with wet, smelly spots and had to be thrown out. The blanket is in the wash now.... my dog loves it but if you have a dog that still is chewing or a dog with long nails... or if you are looking for quality and a waterproof blanket; This is NOT your blanket. Supersport and cozy, sure. But what dog blanket isn't when brando new??Update: after second wash, 30 more strings have appeared. I have flipped the blanket to the sherpa side and will throw out and buy from someone else once it needs washed again.

Please be aware that there are multiple listings for a PetAmi pet blanket that seem to be for the same product. BUT, some indicate that they are waterproof. This product did not state that it was waterproof. However, this product LOOKS exactly the same, the listing is the same, the price is the same, BUT this blanket is apparently NOT waterproof and while it doesn’t state it in the description it’s easy to miss that given that EVERY SINGLE OTHER thing about the item looks to be exactly the same as the waterproof version. I unfortunately found this out the hard way as I purchased two of these blankets to protect my new couch and it might as well have had nothing on it at all. I don’t want other shoppers to miss this important distinction when it is incredibly easy to not see it and end up with dog pee soaking through the cushion of your brand new couch.It’s a nice enough blanket. Soft, but way too warm for my personal preference. Without the waterproof feature, this is just a plain old blanket. A blanket that you could probably get cheaper. Being waterproof would justify the cost. Guess my dogs will be happy that they can have it to lay on now that I’ve discovered it’s beyond useless for the purpose that I purchased it for. I don’t know if this is the fault of the seller, or amazon, or someone who writes the listings and needs to make this difference in the products more evident. As I had been shopping and reading reviews for multiple products just like this (as I’m sure many other people would be doing as well) it’s just really easy to not realize you ordered the wrong product and were not purchasing the waterproof blanket. Honestly, I would hesitate to trust that the other version is actually waterproof as the blankets appear to be identical.My low rating is mainly based on the fact that the seller must know that the listings are for two products that look identical but with one very important difference and yet they don’t seem to make much effort to make sure that buyers are aware of this difference. Very disappointed.

My name is Jessie. I am a 7 year old gorgeous Golden Retriever and I also have to admit I am VERY VERY spoiled. I LOVE sleeping on the floor in my mom and dad's bedroom but alas - it is covered with WHITE carpet. My mom has tried numerous items to cover the carpets so I can sleep peacefully beside her but they were just so-so. She has finally found a REAL WINNER!! She bought two large PetAmi blankets for my floor sleeping quarters. I don't think I mentioned that she had tried dog beds for me but I really didn't like them. These new bankies are so so soft and luxurious (don't I have a wonderful vocabulary)? I get a lot of use out of them because I do tend to sleep quite a bit. I told my mom that I really love these and please please please don't change them! Thanks PetAmi for your wonderful product. So glad mom found them.

First off, we were immediately disappointed that the taupe blanket we ordered looked so much more like gray than taupe, that we assumed Amazon shipped the wrong blanket. But they shipped the correct item. This blanket is a chameleon! In daylight conditions it definitely looks more like taupe, but at night under the illumination of our warm light bulbs, it straight up looks gray. That being said, our dog LOVES this blanket, and my wife loves it even more. So they get to fight over it! It's very cozy, soft and velvety. I wouldn't call it waterproof, but it's a synthetic material (100% polyester) so essentially it won't absorb water like cotton would. But spills and liquids can permeate through it. There's no inner moisture barrier like Gore-Tex or anything. Let's just say it sort of repels water, just by virtue of it being a synthetic fabric. One side is fluffier, like sheep's fur, and the other (colored) side is velvety with a short pile to it. We think it's a great value for the price. It's really no different from any other throw blanket you'd put on your couch. It may be softer than other throw blankets though!

I opted to spend extra money on a blanket for my cat because I was seeking a good quality one that would last. Despite being marketed for pets, this blanket really isn't durable at all. The sherpa side of it was shedding immediately after opening and that was before my cat even started using it. It was getting blue fluff all over the house so I had to flip it over, which made the shedding stop but there's now marks all over the printed side from my cats nails so it's definitely lacking in quality. It will likely make a mess and fall apart upon washing it so I will probably just throw it out rather than taking that risk when it comes time to wash it. For this price, I wouldn't recommend this item and would suggest looking at other products of a similar quality for a much lower price point or seeking something that is much more durable.

According to the reviews, the product seems pf good quality. Unfortunately the shipping delay is what killed the overall experience!We placed the order with an estimated date of July 23, then once the order is completed the date moved to July 30 and with the shipping info, now a new date of August 12... this is borderline false advertisement. There should not be any Prime shipping with such a long delay.

For the price, I was expecting a sturdy water resistant blanket made to withstand dogs use. It’s just a normal fluffy blanket. I can buy the exact same thing at Costco for $20. Don’t waste your money, especially if you need to pay import fees like I did.

Stylish looking. Reversible fabric is a great idea for warm or cold-weather comfort. I was disappointed with the quality of the blanket. The fabric on the plaid side is thin and not very "plush". On the sherpa side, the fabric has a sticky feel.The colors are not exactly as shown on the website. The plaid stripes are blue, and not black as shown.I had expected more for the high price of the blanket.

Bought it for our puppy- she loves sleeping on the blanket, it's very soft and it feels like good quality. Good size, our dog will keep the blanket for a very long time, as it will fit when she grows to full size. So far it's holding it's structure (puppy is teething).
