Scotch Glue Stick, .52 oz, Acid Free and Non-Toxic (6015)

I bought this Scotch Permanent Glue Stick for a craft project that I was working on. I needed something that would adhere cardstock type paper to either cardboard or plywood effectively, and I was hoping to get something strong enough to use for future crafting. This ended up working great!This is a good price, from a well-known trusted brand, was easy to apply smoothly without leaving behind any glue chunks, adhered the paper well without any peeling or lumps/bumps, and will be great for my other future crafts. I don't have anything negative to say about it. I am not sure about the "permanent" claims of this. It is hard to believe that a simple glue stick could have the strength of a permanent glue, but so far for my purposes it has held up VERY strong on paper materials.If you're looking for a good glue stick for your projects and have realistic expectations, I would recommend buying this one!Hope this helps!

I am very impressed with the ease of use of this product; as well as the amazing hold. It really is like an extra strength glue stick. I would recommend for permanent results.

I bought one of these and one Elmer's Craft-Bond Extra Strength (e.g. ASIN B004DNX6EW) to try, and this is the clear winner:* Less blobbing—I've had basically zero blobs vs. a half-dozen for the Elmer's. Both are pretty good, to be fair.* Longer "open time" (time before it stops being sticky when exposed to air)—better for large areas. I've done a square foot at a time with no problems, with the Elmer's the first areas I did would have been getting dry by the time I finished the rest.* Better spread, especially on slightly uneven surfaces. Corrugated cardboard isn't perfectly flat, the surface ripples a little where the corrugations come in contact. With the Elmer's it takes three or four swipes in different directions before the whole surface is coated in glue, these manage it in just a couple passes. In general this glue is also better about producing a nice clean full-width track rather than skipping in some spots.* Easier repositioning and better "tack". This sounds contradictory, but basically, this glue is just a *tiny* bit more "gooey", so it grabs harder, but will also flow under steady pressure to allow you to shift something very slightly without lifting it.The only possible downside, which I haven't really experienced but would make sense, is that this glue may produce more wrinkling/warping, because it lays down a little thicker and probably contains more moisture (see: "gooeyness"). But if you really need a non-wrinkling glue, well, there's a 3M product specifically for that—and the reviews there suggest you pay for it in blobbing and workability.

The media could not be loaded. Over a full half ounce size glue stick. I'm using it for our baby book to glue printed photos in and it works wonders so far. The glue is a good consistency; it's not overly soft. Seems to be a good option for long-term projects.

Excellent value for money. Identical to what was advertised. It arrived super fast. I recommend it!
