Apple 96W USB-C Power Adapter

I recently purchased the Apple Charger and I am extremely impressed with its quality. Unlike various knock-off versions I’ve tried before, this charger is solidly built and incredibly durable. It hasn’t shown any signs of wear or damage, a common issue I faced with other non-Apple chargers. The connection is stable, ensuring consistent charging without any interruptions. It’s a bit more expensive, but the investment is totally worth it for the reliability and longevity it offers. Highly recommend for any Apple device user looking for a dependable charger.

I wanted an extra charging block for travel and other areas in my home. I was going to pay a lot more on Apple until I found this on Amazon. It's got the Apple logo and everything that the Apple ones do - so I believe it's legitimate. It works well and I've had no problems with it so far. It doesn't come with the cord for plugging into the wall, that didn't really matter to me. It doesn't come with the cord for plugging into the laptop neither, but there are some really nice ones you can get for a reasonable cost. I'm happy with it.

Not sure when you’ll ever need this much power but it’s great

Works well as intended. Its not cheap but it charges my MacBook pro i use fir for work in about 3 hours tops. But bc it's USB C, it will also charge my new Samsung Galaxy Ultra 23 Android phone to full in about an hour or so. I bought this bc I did not previously have a 96W charger, I only had an 82w Apple charger. It does well too, but not as good as this one does. Recommended for any new Apple devices, but especially MacBooks or any new Android or Apple phones with USB C ports.

Amazon provided this adapter at a very fair price with warranty and it's the Genuine Adapter you must use if you want to power you MacBook Pro 16 properly and without messing up your expensive laptop. Knock off power adapters are NOT something to fool around with - so this is a worthwhile purchase that Amazon stands behind as does Apple. Does NOT over heat even if left on for days. I actually attached a magnetic/safe adapter to it since the MacBook Pro 16" is USB-C Only for charging. I got that from Amazon and it works great too. Be sure to get the CORRECT USB-C Cable since this is carrying an electrical charge. In my case this was the Apple 240W USB-C Charge Cable (2 m) ​​​​. Very satisfied.!

I purchased a non Apple charger about a year ago thinking it was adequate and reliable. Over time, this charger stopped charging 100% of the time. I did not notice that and believed this to be an issue with my MacBook. After spending time with Apple support, it became clear that this was an issue with a non-Apple product which did not look to be defective at all. I purchased this genuine Apple charger and I'm back in business charging 100% of the time. This was a lesson learned - buy Apple products.

This purchase is a bare bones offering from Apple. You receive the charger block, and the 'tucked-in' AC slip-in module, only. What's not included is the USB-C power cable to bring power to your laptop, or the slip-in extension cord that used to come with a MacBook pro charger. If the reason you are purchasing this Apple charger is because your old charger cable is disintegrating from finger oils, or you've lost or had stolen the charger and cable, ... then you need to factor in that there is no USB-C cable to finish the connection. Otherwise, the charger is fine.

Yes, we hate that Apple makes us buy the cord separately. This is simply the brick for charging. I'm not sure what the standard wattage for the MacBook charger is, but this 96W version is sufficient and does the job. Pro Tip: If you can, wait a few days and check the price. Initially when I was looking for this, the price was at about $98.00 (INSANE). A few days later, I go to purchase and it's listed at $59.00. I'd highly suggest waiting it out and waiting for the price to go down. I'm still stunned the price went down so much, I'd be really upset knowing I bought it at the 30% higher price.
