This case is rock solid, and great fro flying with pistols. I use this every time I travel. Its heavy duty for sure. Great quality and easy to use. It has the pluck foam so you can customise for your pistol and ammo. I want to preface that I have my CCW The pistols where UNLOADED and I followed TSA regulations when packing. This case come with 3 layers of padding in the case. One on the bottom, one middle thick pad, then one in the lid. I was able to get 2 Smith and Wesson Shield 9mm plus's, 4, 13 round magazines and a box of 50 rounds of ammo in it. I packed the magazines under the middle foam 2 on the left and 2 on the right with the box of ammo in the middle. Then placed the middle thick foam in place. I placed the 2 pistols on the middle foam in a yin/yang type pattern. Then closed the lid. and secured with the latches and padlocks. It is a pretty tight fit but it works. Nothing moved and was all in place and safe. TSA in 4 different airports had NO issues with it and said it all looked good. All in all a great and must have case when flying with firearms.

Outstanding hard case with two latches to add lock of your choice to secure. I used it recently to transport a handgun, 2 magazines and two small boxes of ammunition in it, inside my checked luggage. Cleared major airline standards and TSA standards, no issues at all. Do allow an extra hour to your checkin time at airport for the process of departure and arrival. DO NOT use TSA accessible locks on this box! The box can only be opened by you in your presence. You will have to go to the baggage claim office at your arriving airport as they will not place the checked luggage with your handgun on the luggage carousel.

I can really appreciate the quality of this product, especially given its price point. Haven’t tested the water resistance and don’t necessarily plan to. Ordered this to house a full size 1911. Big mistake - it will not fit. These cases are much smaller on the inside than I had initially thought, but that’s my mistake not the product’s. It now happily houses 4 single stack (primers/tips facing up) magazines, a flashlight, and various chargers and accessories for my range days. For anyone with a compact/subcompact this would be great. I have no gripes about the quality of this product and I honestly feel I could drop it out of my car without damaging its contents.

My first impression of this case is that it was priced correctly. The case is solid, has a decent latch system and the foam is easy to customize. The seal appears solid and the handle works as it should. The overall finish of this case is rough, there was a lot of extra plastic from the mold that had to be trimmed off so the case was not only SHARP but functioned as intended. Overall for the purchase price, I am very pleased. It does a good job and after a few minutes of refinement with an exacto knife, all was well. This is not a Pelican, or other premium case. If you temper your expectations you will enjoy this product.

No issues with TSA for traveling. Great product.

The is insanely sturdy, went to get a pair of scissors and my 1yr old chucked it across the room. And it's still intact. I like the thickness of the locking clips. I love the fact that the first foam has small slits in it so I can get a firm fit around my 25 pocket raven. And I can take the foam out and get to the secondary foam for my knifes and holster. I also love that I can put my own padlock on it to keep my 1yr old out of it. The case is water proof which is great cuz I dont have to worry about if i get caught in the rain since I live in Pennsylvania. Overall the case I'd great and definitely worth the money. I will buy another one for my husband.
