Love the choices you are offered. I didn’t cut it just to give myself more room to grow with it, even though I’m almost done. I personally wouldn’t cut it. The ball would fall with out the thread to catch on to. I tried trimming it down the first pregnancy and almost lost all the balls. I cleaned them off with 90% alcohol first. Went in with ease. If the jewelry isn’t real I will itch and burn where ever it’s located. This is not the case with this item. The balls haven't turn my skin green nor irritated it. I’m currently wearing the one that has glitter in the clear ball. Taking a shower is no problem with it. I’ve yet to shower with the other metal pieces yet.

The balls kept coming off the bar. I couldn’t get the ball back on south would just put in a completely new one. I would recommend just buying one quality belly ring instead of multiple. When you’re pregnant a belly ring is your last concern.

Awesome product fits my growing belly. Been using since about 20 weeks. Grows with my belly love it! And doesn’t poke you when u have maternity pants on either. Definitely recommend

The plastic stem piece is extra long, could be a bit shorter - gets caught up on things. Some of the scree on balls are loose and fall off easily. Great temp resolution to keeping the belly hole open until after delivery.

At 22 weeks pregnant, I inserted this naval ring. The ball constantly comes off on the one with the dangling charm. I replaced it with the clear sparkly one. But the top ball broke in half. So I replaced the ball with the silver one. Then at 26 weeks, my naval piercing started hurting and got infected. My piercing is 15 years old. Apparently the stretching of my stomach caused my lower hole to move facing downward inside my naval and the ring couldn’t comfortably adjust. So I had to remove it all together. Now it feels hard and I’m concerned that it’s gonna heal with scar tissue that’ll close it. I should’ve just took my original hardware out. Anatomy issue overall. Not blaming this particular hardware. I’d recommend you try it but remove it at the first sign of pain. Don’t twist the balls too hard to prevent breaking or stripping. They say yiu can cut to your liking but after losing the first ball, I didn’t try it.

It was very comfortable while I was pregnant and I had extra space too !!
