Yes. I have frozen it in its original airtight package, then let it thaw in the fridge before opening and using it. I wouldn't keep it in the freezer for more than three months.

Does it taste like pasta?

My husband is born and raised in Italy, and is a retired Italian chef. Unfortunately, we are both trying to lower carbs. I would say I like it more than he does,but it's OK for him. Make sure you drain the pasta direct to a sieve and rinse very thoroughly. Pat quite dry and then add the pasta to the sauce and toss.

Does it smell like miracle noodles do and have to be rinsed

I've never had miracle noodles. They do have a smell, doesn't bother me. I do also always rinse real well though, then saute.

Is this hearts of palm available in Certified Organic?

They use sustainable harvesting of the plant, but I do not know if they are certified. The product is very good.
