Purchased this item to use while travelling -small enough to fit in my luggage without adding bulk but unfortunately when I tried using it while packing the suction did not work. I felt I wasted my money -- regardless of what I did it vacuum was not strong enough to remove the air from the bags that I purchased with the vacuum.

This is a great little mini vacuum pump kit. It comes with 5 storage bags of various sizes and the pump. I plan to use it for compressing soft items to fit more into a small suitcase, but it could also be used well for preserving food.

Mine cane crushed box half open with the vacuum missing . Not to mention the strange toxic smell while opening the box!
