Very functional.
Works well. Yep kids doing airbrush work. Having an attached supplemental air tank is a must! Plus adjustable effective down to 15 psi.

Nice unit! does get warm.
Nice unit. much quieter than I expected. Did a leak test and it held pressure more than 3hrs without turning on. It does get very hot after about 5 cycles in 20 min. If doing one color on a small Gundam, it will be fine.My first unit arrived DOA. Contacted the manufacturer and they got back to me quickly. Offered to send replacement parts immediately, no questions.Other than getting hot in a long session, this is a very good unit, and great customer service.

First Compressor
I picked this up after being recommended by Squidmar for youtube. After a almost a year of use, I have been extremely pleased. I currently see no need to upgrade from this one!I'm glad I went with a tank option, as the compressor doesn't run constantly. But given how quite this unit has been, I barely notice with a little music going. I finally dialed in where I like my PSI. I love the adjust nob, as it locks in place. You have to pull up, with a distinct click to get to the adjustment setting. So there's no unexpected changes to your PSI.

Massive Upgrade for Miniature Painting!
I upgraded from a cheap online compressor, and the difference is night and day! The TIMBERTECH AS186 provides steady airflow with its 3L tank, eliminating annoying pulsation issues. Compared to bulky and expensive hardware store compressors, this is quieter, more compact, and much more affordable while delivering professional results. If you're into Gunpla or miniature painting, this is a must-have upgrade!

Great little compressor for airbrush hobbyists.
I was expecting this thing to be much louder than it is, I'm pleasantly surprised. One minor thing, that I won't even deduct points for is that the pressure regulator know was initially extremely tight. To the point where I didn't even think it did anything until I watch a video so be aware of that. It is not broken, just might be too tight, then it works perfectly. Pressure holds, recharges quickly, and it just works.

It meets or exceeds its advertised performance.
This is a really nice small, portable compressor and tank. The manufacturer (in the Netherlands) recommends it for use with airbrushes, etc. and suggests you don't use it for other applications. I am not doing airbrush work. I bought it with the intention of using it for one of those "other" non-recommended applications. I'm quite happy and satisfied with the results I get. I wanted to find an air compressor with a small storage tank, which was light-weight, easy to carry and move about, and had just enough storage capacity to use it as an air duster/blower, for small technical and office jobs. I attached a cheap air hose intended for airbrush use, and an industrial blower handle with a lever valve and put a small restricted tube nozzle on that blower. It works great as a light-duty duster. I use it to blow particulates and cleaning fluids off glass optics and other technical items. If you spray air continuously, it does drop its pressure a lot, but if you just wait a minute for it to restore pressure in its attached tank, it is back to life and ready. It is very quiet when running. This compressor/tank is way better than using cans of compressed refrigerant chemical for dusting. They "give up" quickly as soon as their internals get cold, which is fast! I highly recommend this device for smaller, light-duty dusting tasks, if you have the right nozzle and valve unit.
