I bought this for a birthday gift for my baseball loving grandson and we had such a good time playing it.

If your kids like the card game Spoons and they like baseball, they will enjoy this game. The cards are a little hard to read, you can use the numbers if it's too hard to match any other way. Otherwise, you can use a regular deck of cards and use the adorable bats instead of spoons. A fun twist on a classic game!

Way smaller than expected, but cute gift idea.

Hey Batter Batter is a clever interactive card game that’s fun to play for kids and adults alike. My family and I had lots of laughs playing it because there are elements of strategy with this game as the first player who gets a four-of-a-kind can either be sly and sneaky in grabbing a bat or quick and abrupt. Don’t get left without a bat! There are other strategic considerations too. Beyond the gameplay, the cards are cool and the little wooden baseball bats are well-made.

I recently purchased "What About Baseball, Hey Batter Batter Edition" game for my nephew's birthday gift. He played with a group of his friends at his party and they all seemed to love it and got a big kick out of who could grab the bats first! It kept them entertained for a couple hours and kept all the parents laughing! I could definitely see it being a good game for family night as well!
