Super bright, bad adhesion
These lights are SUPER bright in comparison to the stock LED's that came with the RV. Washed and cleaned the surface as per instructions prior to install. The LED light strip ended up pulling them down, even after the adhesive had time to cure. Ended up having to find another mounting compound.

Great for the price
This was a great price and so far it is working just as I wanted it too. Just remember that you will need to buy some more wire for the install and you will need to wire it to a switch. Other than that nice product.

Great Product - Easy Install
We recently ordered a 2021 WolfPack. With it being a new model and the inventory shortage due to COVID, we had to go off the 2020 model. When it came in there were no LED strips under the awning. It had 2 small LED strips on the end of the awning arms about 12 inches long. They did illuminate, but not like what we were expecting. I started searching and came accross these. I ordered 2 of the 12 foot kits, one for each awning. They arrived quickly. I was really just playing to see how I would mount them, but they were so easy I installed both in under an hour. I was luckly as there was a junction box at the top of the awning for the small LED strips, so I just tied into that. For those wondering about the lead you get with these. The lead was a 20 gauge strip of wire 11 inches long and it came off the end of the LED strip. At first I was disappointed and thought it should have been longer, but it worked perfect for my installation. They are bright. I went with Blue as all the outside lights were blue. You can see in the picture a before and after.

Bright but not too bright
Easy to install. Easy to connect wiring and easy peel and stick mounting strips. Lights are bright but not too bright.

BRIGHT and Easy Install ! Here is how we installed it...
BRIGHT, fun and easy to install ! Unlike cheaper designs, this fits in the provided track which attaches to the RV with industrial-strength pre-applied tape! The track comes in 4 ft sections and goes up in less than 10 minutes. The LED strip, which unlike cheaper brands is embedded in clear protective material, then just firmly snaps into the track (no tedious sliding the LED strip in from the ends, this one just easily snaps in!). I drilled a small hole through the wall near the canopy fittings, then bought a short strip of plastic "Wiremould" for the inside to cover the hook-up wire and ran it over to the cupboard, drilled another small hole and fished it into the area behind the microwave and over to the radio area. Had to remove the radio (easy-4 screws) and found the power for the outside light there. Since we had no more use for the weaker outside light,I simply disconnected that and wired the LED light strip to the leads in its place. (PS -- LEDs have to be wired to the + and - power source correctly, and the Jayco wiring for the porch light was not marked. If you connect it and it doesn't work, just reverse the wires and it will!) RESIST the urge to put the LED light strip anywhere but the recommended area just below the "rain gutters" where the awning rolls up -- these puppies are BRIGHT and you definitely want them high and behind you! We received many compliments on the bright blue lights at the Canadian campground and recommended this exact model to other campers. GREAT VALUE for the very reasonable price !

Looks like it came from the factory after installing.
The light itself mounted perfectly on the rv below the awning. The tape appears to be sticking very well and I could not remove it once installed. The wiring was tricky because I wanted it to look good. I drilled a hole from inside the rv that came out right at the end of the light. Then I put corner molding along the bathroom wall into the kitchen cabinet. Then pulled the wire from the original porch light and attached to the new light. The light looks factory installed.

Brighter then the smartest guy in the world.
The lights are bright. When I say bright, I mean they give off enough light to be mistaken for a airport beacon. Almost too bright. They kind of give me a headache. If your a DIY person, these will be easy to install. I drilled a hole through my camper wall above my porch light switch, and then put the channel over the hole. I ran the wire from the end behind the LED lights in the strip. I would recommend using 16-18awg. I used 14 and it was a little thick. It gives it a nice clean installation. I spliced into the 12v porch light and put a separate switch.Again, these things are Star Trek bright.
