10/10 would sleep again
Bought this to use when camping with my partner and dog, based on research and reviews I read.I chose this mat because of it's thermal properties, compact size (considering it's a double) and the fact I had read that it has a durable material, camping with a dogs, claws are often a concern when I am solo and using my much loved but very delicate feeling exped synmat. After testing:The Mat insulates well from the ground resulting in a warm sleep. The bag pump is a little fiddly to get the hang of, but inflates the mat reasonably fast without much effort once you get the technique down. My only complaint here is that the last few pumps can be a bit awkward especially inside a small tent at the mat is now more rigid and it can be difficult to get air inside the bag. It's not a massive deal, just being honest. The material, whilst obviously a bit weightier than other mats you can buy, definitely feels durable and I have no anxiety about my dogs claws puncturing the mat and can let him sleep on it with me without worrying. I also suspect it'll be easy to wipe clean. The V shaped baffles are comfortable and are a cool innovation. You don't feel like you're 'in between' baffles like on lengthways baffles.I am a side sleeper, my parnter is a 'classive crime scene pose' neither of us felt like we were touching the floor underneath and there was minimal disturbance caused if either of us shifted on the mat in the night, no seesaw effect. This is a little weighty/bulky, so not for you UL purists out there, but it's not an issue if you're splitting kit between two people. We were able to do an overnight trip in the hills, I used a 55L pack and my partner had a 30L pack (he is new to this) and we were able to carry food, water, 2 person tent, this mat, sleeping bags, spare clothing, dog paraphanalia and other supplies between us no problem.I carried most of the kit having the larger bag and the stronger back/fitness level/confidence, but if we'd split the kit evenly, we probably could have gotten away with two 45-50L packs for an overnight no problem.I like this mat so much I even now use it for solo trips when I'm operating out of a basecamp (car camping), over my single exped syn mat, as the extra space to spread out adds a bit of luxuary and means I'm confident the dog will be insulated from the ground also (jack russell, short haired so feels the cold). It's nice to be able to sit off the ground when getting changed etc. The larger mat means uneven ground is less of an issue.I find this mat is so much quieter than my exped mat, I never really noticed or was bothered about the rustling or creaking, but there is definitely less of that with this mat.Klymit also offer a lifetime warranty which is great and shows the confidence the company have in their product as well as giving me peace of mind. Nothing worse than paying for a fancy mat and having a nightmare when a seal blows or something, as these things do happen even in the highest quality products.

Good quality but not sure about insulation
good mattress and also weight is reasonable. only issue is that it is not that well insulated and you need to be carefull how you inflate it - too much air causes discomfort, i found that inflating it to level where you can press through it while sitting works really well when two people sleep and produce equal pressure on the tent

Warm and comfortable, great for side sleepers
Took the insiltwd version up Dartmoor with my wife in late autumn and winter, both of us slept great without ever feeling cold, no deflation, comfortable even as a side sleeper, quite long, which I need as I'm 2m tall. Great pad, perfect for couples.

Beware of the R-value
Stated R-value on Klymit's website for the Double V is 4,4 but if you look at the single version of this it's 1,9 acc.to the new ASTM standard. (4,4 acc.to themselfs) That info is missing if you look at the double version, I feel a bit fooled. Used it at 0 deg C and was cold during the night. I would not use it below 10 deg C.I also have the Exped synmat 7 double which is much warmer. However, the fabric feels very durable and I think it will last a long time, comfort is ok, but not more.
