Great decorative dagger
I ordered two of these as props for a film, along with a ton of other weapons and armor items. This is one of the highest quality items I received, despite being one of the lowest priced. I was very surprised by the quality, to be honest. It's very refreshing. If one were so inclined, they could replace the plastic handle for a wooden one, sharpen the blade, and it would be a pretty good actual dagger. Definitely worth the price and more. Do not hesitate to buy this item. ---------- Update 9/1/17 So when I wrote that review above, I had no actual intention of improving this dagger. But it's been a few years now, and I pulled this "prop" dagger out again and had the same thought. I could just replace the plastic handle with a wooden one and have a pretty nice little dagger. I proceeded to try to remove the handle, and let me tell you, they really built this thing strong! The pommel pulls off easily enough, but getting the handle out of the hilt is so much easier said than done. I put this thing through some serious stress trying to get the handle off, and the handle did not budge. Despite the fact that this is not a full tang blade, that thing was really solidly on there. That is some serious build quality! I finally had to heat the hilt up with a heat gun and literally melt the plastic to get the handle out . Once out, I could see the various pieces that make up this dagger. The blade tang extends just barely below the hilt, but fits very snugly into the plastic of the handle. The handle is hollow, but super thick, and the plastic is incredibly strong. While the blade is stainless steel, the hilt and pommel are made from some other type of chromed metal (a magnet will not stick to those pieces). So for $20, I have all the pieces I need to make a really great custom dagger. The sheath, though also plastic, fits very snugly and is very high quality. I plan to weld a full tang to the blade, and made a Kingwood handle for this dagger. The "damascus" texturing on the blade is a little cheesy, but oh well. I am still very impressed by the build quality of this dagger for such a low price.

Relatively nice
This is a pretty good deal for what you're paying. All in all it's not bad, but there are a few things you oughta know before buying it. First, the designs on the blade are WAAAAY more visible than in the pictures provided, and they look pretty weird, sort of detracting form the overall look of the knife. Also, the blade is slightly off-center in the way it juts from the guard on mine: that is to say, when you hold it up and look at it with the blade running down and one point of the guard facing you, the hilt appears to be lopsided. Finally, the scabbard comes with two little loops for attaching to a belt, but they're very skinny and rather uncomfortable to use, so you'll need a chain, rope, or frog to wear it well. All in all not bad, like I said before, but for your cash, I may suggest this instead: Irish style Ring Pommel Dagger / Knife / Athame

Awsome Knight Dagger
I bought this dagger because I was looking for an inexpensive dagger that was nice and didn't rattle. The shipping on this item was amazing and the dagger wasn't damaged in shipping. Now about the dagger the sheath is plastic and has a really cool design on it and the handle looks like plastic but when I tap it sounds like metal. As for the blade it's stainless and has a really cool design and it adds character to the blade, the blade is sharp but not enough to cut someone or wood, although i am sure you can sharpen it but I haven't in fear of damaging it. The end of the handle has a little plastic bead in it which is unecessary to me. If your looking for a decorative dagger for a collection or even for a costume this is definitely a very good choice.

You get what you pay for with this dagger
I bought this on a whim, and was surprised by the quality. The handle is plastic, as is the little "pearl" set in the pommel. That in mind, it is not poorly made, in spite of this. The handle feels solid in my hand, and nothing feels breakable. The blade is minutely sharpened; you could probably cut yourself if you sat on it just right. It is made of stainless steel and has been engraved to look like Damascus steel. There is a somewhat cheap-looking "Made in China" stamp on one side of the blade, which does detract from it somewhat. The scabbard is a solid hard plastic. The detailing isn't as clean on one side, but it's nice-looking on the other, so it works for wearing or display purposes. It does not come with a frog, so if you plan on wearing it you'll need to get that elsewhere.

WARNING
First of all, when i ordered the HK2515 Knights Dress Dagger it came broken right under the hilt where the steel starts, completely cracked... so right off the bat i can assure you that this piece is cheaply made. ALSO, the Dagger itself is NOT the one from the photo. It didnt have all of the engravings or the same handle which of course means that the sheath was different also. When i tried contacting the seller, they were extremely rude and said that i would have to send it back in the same packaging, which had already gotten thrown away. Trust me, if you are looking for a dagger, this is NOT the place to go. Rude service, not the photographed dagger and it may come broken and then you're out of your money.

Very nice, but with a few things worth noting...
This is a great piece of craftswo/manship. It's aesthetically pleasing, isn't too heavy and the black handle and double-edged nature made it the perfect Athame. I love the blade designs, too, although it should be noted that the color in the etchings is a very loose paint which rubs off fairly easy. This is not a problem for me and I may even just end up rubbing them off so I can get the real benefit of a shine to the blade. The thing that I didn't like about it is the plastic stone in the bottom of the handle. It feels and makes the item look more "cheap/novelty." I will probably replace it with some magickally relevant gemstone (maybe Lapis Lazuli or unprocessed Citrine) but this doesn't seem as though it should be too difficult. Other than this, I'm very pleased to have this item as a part of my temple. =) *Note - Someone said in another review that only the tip is sharpened. This is not the case. Both the edges of the blade are sharp enough to cut skin if you weren't careful with it, and the sharpness runs almost completely down to the handle. Of course anyone serious about collecting these sorts of things will be careful anyways, but it's worth a heads-up.
