I am surprised that for this price, you are still getting connectors that are not waterproof/resistant. I wish the seller would have mentioned this in the description so I could have saved returning this back. That being said, the connectors tend to have problems fitting slightly larger connections, even with the jacket is removed. The instructions mention that you should thin out the wire to make it fit, but doing so also reduces the ampacity of the wire if it's used to carry current. Although technically these connectors are "reusable", there isn't really a good way to reopen the tabs once they are locked in. If a wire doesn't lock in properly, you would have to yank the cable out by force and then try to pry the tab back up. There isn't any easy way to simply "release" and "redo". This is probably easier to use compared to a butt connector, but for the price difference and the fact that it isn't waterproof/resistant, I would probably stick with good quality butt connectors that can do the same job as easily.

Found these connectors to be as described, easy to use and solid. Using them to link together LED under cabinate lights.

Great connectors. Used for LED under cabinet lighting. I was able to use 18 gage needed for certainparts of the install. All i had to do was strip the insulation off just enough to fit with no exposed wires out of the connector. Used mainly for the 22gage.Higly recommend these. Huge time saver over splicing or soldering such small wires. Easy to use, plastic is very tough. I was afraid i may break them when crimping down... but nope.

I like these connectors because they’re a no brainer. It’s easy to keep the negative and positive circuits separate and integrate them with the T- taps for flawless LED lighting applications.
