Great brace for De Quervain's!
This brace was the third one that I purchased, after buying two of the AirCast model (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00YIOWYVM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). The AirCast version is fine, but I had to return one due to what seems to be a common defect with the metal splint wearing through the seam. From my experience, it's a good idea to have at least two braces so that you can alternate them. If you are an active persion, they are going to get a little sweaty and you'll need a backup while one is getting washed/dried. After my issues with the AirCast, I decided to get the FitPro as a cheaper alternative. But once I got it, I realized that the FitPro is actually as (or even more well-made than) the AirCast. There are a few things that make me like the FitPro:1. It is all black, unlike the AirCast, so it is less noticable. (And better for formal occasions!)2. I like the straps on the FitPro better than the ones on the AirCast. The FitPro is just easier to put on in general, whereas I was constantly adjusting/re-adjusting the straps on the AirCast.3. The FitPro is slightly shorter than the AirCast. It still provides all the support that I need, but I find it much more comfortable overall.Fortunately, my De Quervain's seems to be healed up so I don't need a brace any longer, but if I needed another brace I would buy another FitPro without question.

Good quality, good price
I needed a wrist brace to support my wrist and thumb which were irritated by carpal tunnel. I ordered both a right and left small. My wrist circumference is about 6-6.25". I think the Xsmall would've fit fine but I went 1 size up because I was on the boarder and I wanted to be able to wear a thin sleeve underneath in case the material itched or bothered my skin. (It does not.) I was pleased with the quality of the brace. The straps are long and I cut them to fit after the pictures were taken and I knew I was keeping the braces. The velcro is good quality and seems it will continue to stick for a while unlike another brand brace I have. The blue material on the inside is padded and very comfortable. I also like that it has extra material (showing in one of the pics I took) that covers the inside of the forearm so the straps aren't directly on the skin. I was surprised how heavy duty this was. This is a good thing overall but sometimes a lighter brace would be more comfortable. The brace has 1 metal palmer stay and 2 metal stays for the thumb. The stays are very sturdy. I almost wish they were a little less thick as I was not able to bend them myself and had to get my husband to help. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and the price paid.

poor thumb positioning causes more pain and injury
I got a large size and I am not a large person but it was far too small. This would be a better fit for a child! If the poor sizing wasn't bad enough, this brace forces the thumb towards the palm of the pinky finger which is exactly what triggers tenosynovitis, which is what this brace was purchased for to support during flair ups. Because the thumb is forced into this position, the wrist support bar on the palm and the seam of the thumb, both press painfully hard into the muscle of the thumb where the majority of the pain happens from tenosynovitis. This brace causes the exact issue that it is supposed to correct! I don't know if I got a defective or damaged one or not but either way, it is going back because it is physically dangerous to an already painful problem

Most Comfortable Support Ever!
I have tried so many different supports for my aching thumb and have finally found one that works and feels good, too!If I am working on a project where the support is too rigid, I can simply take out the removable insert. Kudos, Fit Pro!I probably could have bought a share in the company, wasting so much money of what I will call gadgets that do not work! Will definitely recommend!

I gave it a try
I sprained my wrist and thumb last month. The splint I was given did not have the thumb Spica. I ordered this one because the doctor's office was out of this type of splint. I tried wearing this for 2 days but was unable to wear without pain. I could not get the thumb guide to bend to a position that was comfortable. I feel this one is more heavy duty and better for things like after surgery. I have a big hand and needed my thumb more away from my palm and couldn't get the right fit. The one I wore without the thumb Spica kind of encouraged me to still use my thumb and now I have tendonitis in it. Take care of yourself the right way right after an injury!

Not for boney hands
Ok I got this spica splint for trigger finger of my thumb. I wore it at night. It definitely gives adequate support both to the thumb and wrist. Problem, my hands especially over the thumb is pretty boney. There is not adequate padding. By morning I had two spots on my thumb so red it was almost like a bruise that didn’t resolve until late afternoon. I tried to pad it, I tried to bend the metal, I tried loosening it but for me nothing worked. I have opted for a softer splint with good results

Good value
This was a purchase for pregnancy-related Carpal tunnel syndrome symptoms. I really liked that it provided thumb support, as I was getting “trigger finger” of the thumb too. I went with the extra small, as my wrist measured nearly 6.1, and I believe small started at 6.2something. I would have, and should have sized up—but the size up was going to take several more days to become available and ship, and I really needed it yesterday, so I bought the xs. The product quality and function, in my opinion, is excellent—and a great value compared to what drug store charges are. I may still wish to exchange for a small however. I have delivered last week, and still have symptoms and would like to wear it when I had downtime from carrying baby. My background is that I am a physician/surgeon, and have very procedural work, and anything to recover Moe quickly, I will try!

I am nearly healed!
I had a pinched nerve in my wrist that hurt when I moved my thumb a certain way. I have two other wrist braces that did not work. One does not immobilize my thumb. The other does, but it was too short and put pressure right on the nerve. I have been wearing this for less than a month (the nerve has given me trouble for probably 6 months) and I am nearly completely healed! typing this now without the brace. What a relief.
