This removed my pain, the generic did not - and is a great price point per caplet. Thanks Osteo Biflex.
I had a neck Joint replacement 2 years ago, also lifetime knee problems... scaling back on my pain meds NSAIDs from the neck surgery I've been noticing more general joint pain, including my neck.Purchased 2 week bottle (28 count) from CVS locally because a friend suggested it.Very expensive, was suppose to see a difference within 2 weeks... BUT Pain was reduced in my joints by 90% within 2 days. The two weeks my movement was up 120%. Very pleased.Because of the expense per caplet/day I bought the generic version from CVS. Joint flexibility remained ok, but my pain came back. Started 'groaning' getting out of bed again. After a week of generic, I realized that I needed to go back to this name brand to test, but again, the cost per caplet is 3x generic.Found this on Amazon. Same product, 170 count (85 days). Same cost as generic per caplet.Received it today. Took 2 at lunch. Pain faded. Pain faded.Had to research to FIND OUT WHY!?!Comparing ingredients / research between generic and the name brand found the below info:1. The Glucosamine / Chondroitin Sulfate, MSM, Collagen is for long term joint health. They work together to help build/maintain joints. Although some consumer reports testing shows that the CVS brand is low % as stated on these, it would be a long term issue, not noticable in the short term.2. The 5-LOXIN is in both, but apparently the Osteo Biflex has a better blend, as it also includes AKBA.5-LOXIN and AKBA work differently from regular NSAID pain killers, they inhibit an enzyme that causes joint pain. Thus you have the benefits, without tearing up your stomach.5-LOXIN® is a patented, standardized extract of boswellia, providing 30% acetyl-11-keto-beta boswellic acid (AKBA).5-LOXIN is the painkiller. Boswellia, also known as Indian Frankincense, is an herbal extract taken from the Boswellia serrata tree. Resin made from boswellia extract has been used for centuries in Asian and African folk medicine to treat chronic inflammatory illnesses, as well as a number of other health conditions.Soo .. I researched Boswellia extract, 150mg tablets would be the SAME cost per caplet as the Osteo Biflex at this price (the same as the generic) BUT would not have the Glucostomine and Condroitin. Conclusion: Price per caplet at this price point (170 caplets for ~$27) is AS cheap as both the generic from CVS, and as cheap as the extract by itself. As I type I've got no pain in my hands, and I'm certain that the addition of the Gouc/Con will improve joint health - and this price point (~0.15 / caplet or ~ 0.31 / day for two caplets) is very affordable.

A supplement that actually works.
I don't often review these sort of products but this is an exception. This stuff works! I have severe arthritic pain in the base of my thumbs. I had bone on bone rubbing which caused the pain to be constant. Think how often you use your thumbs. Cortisone did not help and OTC painkillers only helped a little. Hand specialist recommended a surgical procedure that was very invasive and had a long recovery which included one month complete loss of the use of my hand, followed by about 5 months of gradual use and rehab. Osteo Bi-Flex is not a cure but it is allowing me do most things with very little discomfort. It has given me the opportunity to choose to have the procedure at a time convenient to me. I would recommend anyone with arthritic joint pain give this a try. I felt the effects within three days and a lot of improvement within five days.

This stuff really works
This stuff really does the job if you have some chronic arthritis. I have it in my hands, and so I use 2 of these a day (one in the morning and one at night with my meals. If you use as directed (meaning double the dose for the 1st two weeks so your collagen will build up) , you will definitely notice a difference after about 2 weeks. I actually wanted to see if it was what was really causing my relief of the pain in my hands. So I stopped taking it for a couple of weeks and suddenly found my hands smarting and aching again. After the 2 weeks, I definitely wanted to go back to taking it. I also gave a couple of weeks worth to my gardener who was complaining about the pain in his hands. I explained that he needed to double up the pills on the first 2 weeks and he followed the directions and got amazing relief. This is definitely worth a try. (Note I was NOT given this product or paid in any way for this review).

Good for De Quervain's tendonitis
I've been suffering from De Quervain's tendonitis in my left wrist for almost 5 months. I've used thumb splints and braces, but the tendonitis never got much better. I then came across a YouTube video where someone recommended this product for the same condition. I was skeptical, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to try. After a few days of taking the Osteo Bi-Flex, the pain in my wrist has substantially subsided. I have much more mobility with my thumb and feel 90% better in just a few days. I read somewhere that the active ingredient stimulates the production of a fluid in the body that minimizes the friction between the tendon and the sheath, which is what causes the pain from the tendonitis. I highly recommend this product for anyone suffering from De Quervain's tendonitis.

Joint Care
As with most supplements I review I cannot give a miracle report or anything like that. As I always say... supplements are exactly that... supplements. Supplements help keep your body healthy so that your body can heal itself. As for the Osteo Bi-Flex... well, I am going to say I think it is working to make my joints less painful. Only time will tell. The pills are *huge* and very hard so if you are someone who has trouble swallowing large capsules I will tell you to find an alternative. You will not be able to swallow these at all. I do not notice any bad tastes, after taste or smells with this product. The ingredients all seem to be safe and effective according to the research I have done. If you are concerned about joint health I can't see any reason not to try the Osteo Bi-Flex brand.
