Ideal Animal Health Drawing Salve

Great stuff but hard to find in drug stores. My mother taught me to use this when I was a child & I've been using ever since. "Black Salve" was what we always called it & I guess others do as well. The only problem is this size will last me at least 20 years & will expire long before I can use it. In fact, I'm pretty sure I'll expire before the container! Highly recommend.

I still have a tube of the original. Their claims of being "the same ingredient " based on Wikipedia is bunk. Do not fall for this!!! Nothing NOTHING is the same from the smell, look, ingredients, consistency or power to draw things out.Will pass this along to a horse friend. Not a drawing salve - just a money maker for this outfit for people desperately seeking the original ichthammol.Very disappointed.

I had a pretty big cyst on my skin and this was the only thing that could get rid of it. Unfortunately, the cyst did come back a few months later which I needed surgery for but this worked the best for a temporary solution. It has also worked great to draw out splinters, infections, and other weird stuff I have had on my skin.
