Capezio Girls' Team Basic Camisole Leotard with Adjustable Straps

I bought the 6-8 size for my daughter who had just turned 6. She's average sized, maybe a little on the small side, and generally wears XS and some 5T clothing and this just fit with only a little room to grow. This solved our problem of itchy costumes and her newfound modesty in the dressing rooms! It was hidden under all of her costumes. I have seen other girls with theirs showing a lot and spoiling the look of their costumes. Hopefully it will fit for next year's performance too. The "light suntan" was perfect on her half Mexican, half German skin. Nude leos are way too light on her and all that was available in the stores. The one we received had metal clips (not plastic as some reviewers received) that held the straps without any problems at all.

I read the other reviews prior to purchasing this leotard for my 8 year old daughter. She is 49" tall and 60lbs and typically a size 8 in regular clothing. Based on the other reviewers commenting on the sizing running small, I purchased the size 12-14. With the adjustable straps set to the smallest setting, it fits her perfectly and she will definately have some room to grow. It is made of nice soft spandex type material but it doesn't seem clingy like a spandex (just soft and pliable). I have just purchased it and haven't yet washed it so I can't comment on durability or whether it will shrink when washed (but I doubt it will shrink much at all because of the material it's made out of). Great leotard and I'm sure I'll be purchasing more in the future. Just beware of how small the sizing runs. Although I think my daughter will get a few years of wear out of this, I don't think she'll still fit in when she's a true size 12-14 in clothing.

Fabric is tick, comfortable for any girl, nice nude color for undergarment and even for wearing it in any ballet/ gymnastics lessons. Has a lining on the front (see the pics). My daughter is 9 years old and is 55 1/2 inches and 63 lbs aprox and fit perfectly. I got both size L & M just in case but I kept size M. Easy return -Very happy with our new leotard and gonna last xdTotally recommended

I bought this for my daughter to wear under her costumes for an upcoming dance recital. I read the reviews saying this leotard ran small so ordered a L10/12. My daughter usually wears a M7/8. It was a bit big but that means she can use it again next year. My only issue was the straps didn’t tighten up enough so they showed a little on her shoulders. You couldn’t see it from the audience. Otherwise this was perfect for what we needed.

I ordered the small (4-6) for my 5 year old daughter who weighs about 35 lbs. and fits in clothes anywhere from sizes 4-6 depending on the brand, and it fit perfectly, with the straps adjusted to about their tightest fit. The straps still fell down some, but after volunteering at her dance recital where all the girls were wearing these in various brands, it seemed to be a pretty common problem. While I appreciated the adjustable straps, the metal parts did irritate her shoulders. The fabric is nice and thick and seems like it would last a while. After reading lots of reviews on similar products, I'm glad I went with this one.

Ordered my 10 year old the 10-12 size and way too small. Thought 12-14 would have been way too big for my average-sized kid (about 4 ft tall and 70 pounds) but the larger size was perfect. Don’t try to adjust the straps in a hurry! But at least they don’t slip, I guess this is the point! Nice thick material, fits pretty well otherwise, she says it was comfortable and she’s pretty picky!

This brand has great thickness, not a whole lot of stretch but adjustable straps. This leotard is way too small though and it doesn't fit her. I can't return it because she tried it on after cutting the tags off. WAH! I am going to donate it to the ballet school and hopefully find one she can wear for this upcoming performance she has. Buy a size up or two if you're not sure!!

If we didn’t need this leotard this weekend, I would return it. The only reason I didn’t buy the Bloch was because it wasn’t on Prime, but I regret it. This leo is so awkward fitting. The straps are very bulky, and they don’t lay flat. There is a seam right down the middle of the seat of the leotard so it’s not one solid piece of fabric and could easily separate over time, especially with young children who are hard on clothes. The fabric isn’t as smooth and comfortable as the comparable Bloch leo. It’s really a truly made product that I wish I hadn’t purchased and didn’t need to keep because of a time crunch.
