The elephant has a cover (Part of hos body) that opens and closes over the cigarette.O ordered for ashtray, too cute to use for ashes. Use for putting jewelery etc in bedroom, bought another to add as decor in living room. I bought the bronze both times. I read reviews that the ones painted were out of lines etc, so played it safe. Super cute.

I bought this for my mom's vanity room, where she smokes her cigarettes fabulously. And this elephant ashtray is going to fit in perfectly. She's so cute. I love her. I was afraid she might feel cheap, but she doesn't. Not as heavy as one might want, but not too light either. I'm very happy.

This piece is a must have. Aesthetically it adds such a nice touch to my smoking section of the house and no one ever knows it’s an ashtray until I actually use it in front of them. The only downfall is that the dirt inside is very hard to clean and mostly stains inside, which no one really sees the inside besides you when you’re cleaning it.

Worth $ & very well made. I wouldn’t use as an ashtray as might be hassle to completely clean. I use it as a little “stash” holder for lighter, etc. Looks cute in tv room & no one realises it’s actually functional. Also holds Qtips well. There are too many out of the box uses to list. If considering; buy. Won’t regret.

This little guy is simply adorable even if you don't use it as an asteroid it's very nice and heavy indeed. Keep care if you place it outside because rain can get inside of it however so just know that when you buy it.

Absolutely stunning! I know smoking is bad blah blah blah! But if you're searching for ashtrays you probably smoke too and in that case buy this! Everyone that's seen it has asked where I got it. I love the fact you can close the lid so those that don't smoke don't have to see a standard ashtray and commence with the judgement!!! Honestly its really beautiful to look at and dare I say even if you don't smoke it would make a great decorative piece. Not flimsy nor does it feel cheap, it has weight to it and is definitely worth the money.

Finally, something made in China that actually feels and looks like quality. I'm very impressed with this product. I don't smoke, so I will never be using this to flick smelly cigarettes into, this is way too nice to be used for such a nasty purpose.Thank you seller, I hope it brings me and my son good luck, the trunk is raised, which indicates good fortune.

More like a classy looking ornament than an ashtray…. Could use as a sweet server for example.Nice touch pads on the feet so it doesn’t scratch furniture. Quite heavy, lovely colour…more than I expected for the price.
