Bought this for my daughter bc she loves Barbies and loves drawing. She has enjoyed it.

This item came already opened. I bought it as a gift for my niece and thought it sounded like pieces were loose in the box. So, I opened it and this is how it was. Already opened and used. So disappointed

Bought this for my 5 year old at our local art store, and she really enjoys it. I showed her how to do it the first time, then she took it from there. Now her bedroom wall is covered with all her “creations.” The rubbing crayon was broken in our kit too, although one piece was big enough to fit in the holder (and honestly, it’s not that difficult to use your fingers instead of the holder). My only complaint is that my daughter blew through the included papers in just a few days, and I wish you could buy more on Amazon. I’m sure regular printer paper will work too, but I’ll have to cut it down so it fits under the paper holder tabs. All in all a solid gift for a little girl who likes art projects, and one that requires little parental involvement or potential for mess.

I used to have one of these as a kid. It was one of my favorite things to play with. So, naturally, I got one for my little cousin when she began getting into arts and crafts. I received it quickly, however, when I opened it up to try it out, it didn’t really work great. Unfortunately I don’t have it anymore so I can’t provide pictures, but I’ll explain the issue:There are 3 sections; the head, torso, and lower body. As I went to put in the 3 different sections, they did not fit on the pegs. They kept popping up and falling out of the set. I was very disappointed because I was excited to play with this with her as I only get to see her about once a year at Christmas. I ended up shaving down the pegs a little with a metal file, but it still didn’t really work great. I don’t necessarily recommend this specific set, but it’s a great gift for kiddos (and teens in my opinion) who love fashion + arts and crafts.

The plates don’t fully fit in their appropriate slots so they don’t lay flat which you need in order to make the smudging.Was disappointing. Not my childhood memory

I was very excited to get this for the little girl I nannied for it. Upon opening it the black charcoal that you use to actually make the outline was broken in half so she was unable to put it in the holder. It kept falling out. We tried using a black crayon but that didn’t work either.Paper also does not stay in place. After trying to play with it for about a half hour she gave up and didn’t want to bother.

My daughter was so excited to get this toy, but it was not the quality we were hoping for. The tracing crayon arrived broken in half and a regular crayon does not fit in the holder. In addition, the pieces do not snap into place nor is there a mechanism to hold the paper secure. The tracings are blurry and disappointing. The case/holder does not even snap shut. We were hoping for a much better product.
